It is very overpriced for what it is. It’s a honesty box which means cash only so be prepared. The bathrooms are not clean. The camp area was untidy. The best thing about our stay was the cat that hung around. Unfortunate because it is a beautiful area to be.
Excellent facilities, hot showers and really friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again :
The only thing that is really beautiful about this campsite is the view and the beautiful green lawn for the tents. We were there for 2 days and had tents with us. During our stay the toilets, showers and kitchen had not been cleaned and were very dirty. The tea towels from the day before were also smoothed out and hung back on the handles of the ovens. Despite all this, we had a nice stay at this quiet campsite and the owner is friendly.
This is a quaint site, with a take envelope and post cash option. It really does have an end of the world feel. Bluff is often much colder at night, it's so far south. Food options are very limited, you have some cafe but the opening times are limited out of season. Showers are great, owner is very helpful although not on site at all times. The cat is black and white and friendly, although mostly looking for food he is owned and well fed so say hello if you see him.
Some nice features here and dog friendly. Showers incredibly powerful and apt to blast through the curtains and spray your towel and clothing.nGood laundry.nNice position and Bluff is an interesting place. No where to eat after 7 and only the chippy before 7.nDownside is it's not particularly clean - neither showers nor kitchen.
