Very glad we stopped here today! Our group all agreed the fish and chips were really good. Fish was excellent and fried perfectly. I have to mention the mashed peas, these tasted garden fresh. Service here was very good as well. #gocollette
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. A little dinghy but it's a pub, after all. Food was good, drinks excellent. Live music while we were there. Outside seating available. Excellent location. Parking: No parking at all. Take a cab!
Really cosy and nice pub, the waiters are really friendly and the food is really good! definitely will come back for another beer and fries.
Amazing food - amazing service. I felt at home when the bartender noticed I was drinking a boring coffee and bailey's and offered to make me a real Irish coffee. It was the BEST coffee drink I've had - ever. It was beautifully crafted. I ordered the sausage roll and I wish I had ordered one more to go! Can't wait to go back again!
The atmosphere is great and the live music is the best! The mixed drinks are lackluster and the staff is not very friendly. But the music is great Food: 4/5
Have been to this pub a number of times, wonderful location within the Grassmarket fantastic atmosphere especially on a Friday and Saturday. The bar staff are extremely friendly and provide a great service. I have eaten a number of times in the pub and the food is rather good, I would especially recommend the Fish and Chips or their signature Ploughman's Board. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh.
I sat down for a few pints with friends, great atmosphere with a great variation of music. The food was amazing, I had the Turkey Jambalaya and it was outstanding. definitely a place that Ill be returning to in the near future.
Cute little pub attached to our hotel. You have to try their homemade oats porridge. It is honestly the best we had ever eaten!! Lovely staff and atmosphere. A must visit place!
Cannot comment on the food, because I just had drinks there. The atmosphere was good, but the bartenders could have a little bit more patience with tourists. I had asked two bartenders what draft beers they have and received no clear information.
Been here 3 times in 3 days. Everything’s great EXCEPT - they water down the beer. You’ll not feel drunk even after 5 beers. I’d say its a good skip.
