It seems to be quite a popular spot in the area for pies. We tried two pies with meat filling one with lamb and one with venison and both were tasty. Unfortunately, when we visited, no vegetarian savoury options were available. Friendly staff. It can also be a good way to make waiting for your laundry more enjoyable as the laundromat is just next to it.
The pies had the flakiest and buttery pastry. The fillings were also well seasoned and full of flavour. Great coffees too!
We popped in on our South Island roadtrip after reading all of the amazing reviews and we were EXTREMELY impressed!nnWe tried the keto scrolls so damn good that we inhaled them before taking a photo, custard slice, ginger crunch, and salted caramel keto cheesecake. These were some of the most delicious baked goods we've ever eaten.nnJo is also so lovely and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Great value , Excellent homemade cakes and slices. All at a great prices, Right beside the laundry. If you're a traveler, this is a must, grab one of there coffees. You will not be disappointed.
I’ve been meaning to write this review for nearly six months! The pies and sausage rolls we had here were easily the best we had during two months road tripping around NZ, and the ladies who served us were so friendly.nnIt was such a treat to stumble upon this place as we sadly only passed through Hokitika. We fell in love with NZ in part because of places like this, so I hope it’s still there when we return one day!
