Bellevue Gardens Hotel

A family of six. Rather long confusing waiting queue to enter the large bar room for Xmas midday meal. A system improvement needed to get people to tables but I don’t know what it is! The food was magnificent 99/100. One mark off for dry groper overcooked. Fresh Salads delicious and interesting combinations of ingredients.Traditionally cooked vegetables, meats faultless. Raw and well cooked shellfish much variety, thoroughly enjoyed.A great selection of desserts from traditional Xmas pudding to modern freshly cubed fruits and all in between such as pav, cheesecakes, all decorated to high standard. Gluten free choices as well.I did like having self serve tea and coffee. The staff were all pleasant and cheerful with a big crowd and lots of work to do.Highly recommended.

We occasionally have a meal and do the pub quiz in the bar and it is a great evening. The quiz is lots of fun and the food is really good pub-grub style food burgers, steaks, schnitzels, chowders etc which we are always impressed with.

Unfortunately staff made myself and my friends feel unwelcome. Felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. Maybe it was just a bad day for them but I ended up feeling down.

I've been here twice for the Father’s Day dinner buffet and Mother's Day dinner buffet. Both times, the buffet dinner was okay. Their desserts however was really good with choices of cakes, slices, fruit platter, custard, cream, and chocolate sauce
