Beach Haven Brew

The brewery is nice, very festive holiday atmosphere, and happy to see that in late fall at LBI there were a lot of people having a good time with live music playing. There was also an beer garden setup outside! I'm taking off a star since I was primarily interested in buying some beer to go, and the prices at the brewery are actually more expensive than at my local liquor store.

This place is a must if you like craft beer. One of the best breweries in the area with a great selection. We sat in the beer garden, there are tables with umbrellas plus a big tent for tons of shade. The outside menu is smaller than inside, but that is understandable. T-shirts were on display both inside and outside. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

There's a large parking lot behind the Brewery and an outside sitting area for the Beer Garden. There wasn't any clear signs but you can only get flights inside up the stairs. They don't sell food here but with it being the beach, there are plenty of restaurants to order from to bring here. I believe dogs are allowed in the outside beer garden area. We opted for the upstairs to get a flight and you do get some nice views if the water and the beer garden. They didn't have the AC running but had fans on for a semi hot day. They do have a bathroom upstairs that is gender neutral and outside has some Porta pottys as well. To the right of where you order, you can get a clipboard to pick your own flight before you order. You can order flight of 4 or 8. We opted for the 4: Beach Patrol Hefeweizen - this is a great Hefeweizen and very flavorful. This is probably my #1 pick. I really enjoyed this beer and it definitely incorporates all the flavors in the description which is generally pretty difficult to do so. This is my #2 pick Mexican Stout - Strong coffee smell but the taste is amazing. You definitely get that hint of the spice from the peppers Imperial Pumpkin Ale - You get more of a pumpkin smell than you do the taste. I wasn't too much of a fan of this but it was still good. This is my last pick out of the 4. Mary Lee Please Don't Eat Me - Farmhouse Ale Saison - much lighter than the Hefeweizen and a soft hoppy taste but still good. This is my #3 pick. The merchandise here is really cute but it is very pricey. There is a small self guided Brewery tour you can take which goes over the Brewing process and the do have free wifi.

I was very excited to visit this brewery to try their seasonal beers but was EXTREMELY disappointed with the customer service. The bartender was nasty and had a major attitude problem ripping the paper out of my hands where i wrote out what i wanted in my flight. Not to mention the false advertising. The sign when walking up the stairs stated you can purchase a growler but when I inquired at the bar, the bartender responded that they did not have any for sale but I could bring one in to have it filled. The only saving grace for this review was the fact the seasonal beers were decent but unfortunately I drove 2 hours to get a pint of a decent beer and a side of horrible customer service.

Fun beers, great location and helpful bartenders! Dare I say, something for everyone over 21, of course. Highly recommend their tiki bar in Bay Village where the old baseball field was located.

The hostess and waitresses are really friendly. There is live music almost nightly and plenty of space. They have some games and are family friendly. My wife and I really enjoyed the porters.

Small brewery lots of beers. The brewery and tasting room are one and the same so it was a tight fit on our Saturday visit. The place was packed and was hard to get a beer, good for them but not for me. We did get a beer after a bit and it was their take on a Mexican lager, it was good and worth the wait. We would have liked to try some more beers, they do offer flights or waves as they call them, but it was too busy and crowded to be able to enjoy them.

It's a small and interesting brewery, however for a true craft beer connoisseur the beer selection is not the best 5 beers. The current beers lacked anything that sets it apart from any generic beers. The staff is very courteous and the service was definitely one of the highlights of the brewery.

Not a bad place, I visited a few times during my stay, I prefer the outdoor beer garden area as they have live music or trivia and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Beer is decent but none I would say are the best I've had.

Beer quality has really stepped up since they opened. Very enjoyable atmosphere. I do wish they brought the garden back for outside enjoyment
