Open 9am to 2pm Tues to Sat. At times extensive selection of the freshest seafood. Its the only place I buy fresh fish. I know a few others who always buy their fish there. Friendly staff too. Not the most convenient of locations but then you could say that about a lot of places given the geographical spread of Tauranga. Absolutely recommended.
Large selection of Fresh Seafood products direct from factory. Something for everyone and cheapest Kina in the Tauranga area. They also supply free bins of fish heads for Tangi
I go here once or twice a week. They only are open Tuesday and Thursday from 9am. You do need to be early as they can run out of fresh fish. The staff are always pleasant helpful. Parking can be a issue at times ,only four car park spaces.
Always helpful with which fish is best value. Also very helpful with which cuts are best served for certain dishes. She was most helpful when I wanted to make mexican cerviche and pointed me to a great fleshy fish. Their selection is limited, but that because they only sell what is fresh and running. I've been numerous times since August and have had great experiences every time. I never booked, so maybe my expectation of waiting in line and getting in soon after opening time so they haven't sold out is the way to go?!
This company fully deserves it's extremely low rating. Bay Packers messed up my order for xmas, even after confirming on the phone weeks before the order. Blaming the customer seems to be how they avoided acknowledging the incompetence of their staff and the way they conduct business. No attempt to find a solution and no apology. Customer service is atrocious they were not truthful and were saying things that were simply not true. I would not be writing this review if their staff could have given a simple acknowledgement/apology for having to reorganise food 2 days before xmas. Just trying to do the right thing and buy local, to support the Tauranga economy, but I recommend you go elsewhere to avoid dealing with this company.
Google hours are wrong and have been for at least a year. I’ve been caught out twice for this. Great fish but service is not great.
Your delivery guy in the small truck that speeds around Tauranga cutting people off should be sacked. If this is who you let represent your company out in public, he is doing his best at letting you down big time.
noisy refrigeration truck in mangonui left running all night in front of hotel on main street also taking up several waterfront parks. very inconsiderate.
Terrible don't show up on time hours late when they do show up they go offload everyone else instead of the ones the sceduled times with prior would not recommend
