Brought in my dog when he was sick. Amazing service, they were friendly and helpful. The vet was extremely thorough and did a great job of explaining her diagnosis and what to look out for when we took him home. When she saw I was still worried, she said they could admit my dog for the night if i preferred, but she was confident in her diagnosis and the risk if we took him home. It was very reassuring and she and the lovely admin staff made it clear I could bring him back at any point if I was concerned. Would absolutely use her as our regular vet if we could. Not all vets like treating pugs but she seemed very comfortable with them.nThe price was significantly below what I've paid at other emergency vets and was clearly explained upfront. Great value.
We had a miserable experience when we took our dog there with bloat. We have over 40 years and over 40 dogs of this breed and know it was operable - if they had the facilities, equipment and knowledgeable staff. They offered us euthanasia before any discussion and when we asked for him to be saved they mucked around for so long until saving him was no longer possible. Poor facilities with no room to walk around operating table in an operating room open to the whole clinic. A blood pressure monitor that they used but said they 'didn't trust' when I questioned it. No secure pens, a dog was screaming in a fold up crate less than 3 metres from operating table. Had I known how shocking this facility was, I would have driven to Hamilton after hours or ARC in Auckland. Two hours, poor effort, dead dog $2221.00 It seems animals are only able to get sick Mon-Sat lunchtime or owners are forced to deal with this dismal option.
I can’t thank this team enough it’s the second time iv had to use the after hours vet. Today my best mate Hudson frenchie got run over by a car and they were the first call, felt completely at ease as they checked him over throughly. They completed X-rays of the whole body which involved him to be sedated, so with the initial after hours consult plus pain meds and the few hours to monitor him for $600 I personally thought it was very reasonable. Have seen a few negative comments which sucks but my experience was 100% 5 stars Somehow he walked away with no major injuries. Thanks again awesome team
Amazing care & kindness shown to our beautiful fur baby. We wouldn’t still have her if it hadn’t been for Georgia promptly diagnosing Coco’s Addisonian crisis. We had been to other vets who kept misdiagnosing her. She was literally on deaths door by the time she was seen and expertly treated by Georgia. She has her ups and downs and now 3 months post diagnosis she has been treated again expertly by Maria. I cannot fault any of the care and treatment Coco has received by these caring Vets and nurses.
Very good environment and staff. My cat was very relaxed and didn't freak out. Staff were helpfull and great. They also notified me of the consultation price over the phone before coming in.
