My husband and I took our friends there for afternoon tea on 1/6/2024.nnThe atmosphere there was amazing as it was right at the waterways. We all enjoyed the marvellous view there. Coffee and chips were fantastic.nnWe couldn’t meet the owner Daisy as she’s busy working at the kitchen.nnHopefully, we can meet her up sometime for future business endeavours, such as private functions, business meetings, etc.
Great location on the Whitianga Waterways to enjoy good food with friends - inside or outside. Met for a family lunch and food did not disappoint. Might seem a little on the high side office wide but portions are generous and well worth it
Dined in here last night and then came back for coffee in the morning.nnHad the roast which was amazing, stuffing was great, definitely recommend adding that to your order.nnThe staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Kayla and Emily are great!
Well I had a high expectations and really thought it was going to be a great experience. Maybe they didn’t ordered enough food for a long weekend. On the Sunday evening 5pm I ordered Oysters. “Sorry Sir we are out’. No problem is there anything else on the menu that you are out of. Just the Pasta of day. Ok. Let’s try Double Smash Beef burger. 1min later. Arrr we are out of that as well. How about the Fried Chicken Burger. Yes that available. Great! That will be fine.nOK not great but not bad. Dad had the Spare Ribs. He enjoyed them but would have been keen to have the opportunity to order some form of vegetables with the meal.
Great food and atmosphere. Some of the beat raw fish I have ever had. The chicken wings are also delicious. Great coffee and drinks. Can take a while to get the food so don't come here if you are in a rush but I would rather wait a bit longer and have great food. Staff were very helpful.nIt is a great place to be to wait for food- we sat on beanbags in the sun while waiting and there is a playground close by that the kids can go to. Also a stunning view looking out over the waterways. We will continue to visit.
