We recently moved to Masterton, already we are convinced this is the best takeaway for Chinese meals and F&C. Sometimes the wait is quite long, a testimony to it's popularity!
Best fish and chips in town with less amount of oil and fair price. Perfectly cooked chips. Will visit again. They are transparent as the cooking is visible to public through the glass window from outside the shop.
Basil's in Masterton is great food! Crispy chips and lovely big fillets of fish in light batter.
For a small town fish & chip shop Basils is the place to find great tasting takeaways at an affordable price. The chips are my favourite, well cooked and crispy with good portions of fish. I recommend you try them if in Masterton.
Don't really want everyone knowing that I live on fast food!nBut- they do make the best egg burgers in town and everything else is pretty good too! In my humble opinion**nBasically it's home cooked.nGot to be better for you than, Maca's, KFC,B-king etc.nAnd it's locally owned and operated !nWhy wouldn't you go there
