Super value for money. I lived in private room with private bathroom. And also with balcony with good view.

Great hostel with awesome staff and a cool, cheap bar in the basement. The kitchen gets busy and dirty at times but there are always staff around the hostel keeping it and the bathrooms clean. They do free pancakes for breakfast, too, which is really great. It's in an awesome location, close to everything Wellington has to offer.

Base Backpackers in Wellington is excellent. Great staff, clean bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms. A very safe and well organised place. Would fully recommend Base Wellington.

My Stay was so amazing ! Melissa on the reception is the best, but all staff are friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend the place as it has an amazing bar and the pub crawl was my favorite. Shout out on Clem at the reception always here to answer to every questions I had.

Great hostel with lovely people. It's such a chilled atmosphere, the rooms are clean and people are really friendly, both the staff and other people staying there. You're in a fantastic location with lots to see only a short walk away

Room is dirty. Guests r not ok. Nasty. If the hostel did good clean job or arrange the good space in room. Guests would follow. I believe.

Best place to stay in Wellington, with plenty of things to see and do nearby. The staff are great, too, offering advice and tips on what to do while I was here. There's free WiFi and pancakes every morning to start the day. The rooms are clean and staff are working throughout the day to make sure it stays that way.

Great hostel, perfect location and great staff. Made to feel really welcome and there's a bar in the basement for cheap drinks and an easy way to meet people with lots of activities to get involved in. The pub crawl is a great night and a good way to see the nightlife in Wellington. You're close to everything at this hostel!
