The lads from Barton McGill have done a remarkable job installing a beautiful refurbished snooker table for us. Highly professional in every way, no wonder the business is still going strongly at well over 100 years. Could not recommend BM more highly.

Barton McGill have done an amazing job on restoring a family heirloom. They took a very run down table that had been neglected & in storage for years, and turned it into a beautiful work of art. Lady on the 30th don’t even acknowledge us. I come here all the time and lovely Wayne is always pleasant to deal with and wanted to assist however he doesn’t work there and couldn’t. He said wait for the lady to finish and then she can assist. I waited 15 mins and still no apology, no…. Would you like to sit down, no please bear with me and I’ll be right with you…. Nothing. When I finally left she didn’t even say sorry and murmured “how rude” as I left. My family come all the time and have a close relationship with Wayne and it breaks my heart to have this experience. But for a person to be completely ignored for 15 mins with no apology is just no how I would ever dream of running my business. As a result it will be hard for me to come back….. Possibly I will go to excellence billiards from now on.

I needed to replace the cloth on my Pool table due to damage. The whole process from quote to finished product with Barton McGill was fantastic. Kerry did an amazing job of installing the new cloth on my table. Looks brand new! If you want a great quality job and a company that will turn up on time I couldn't even get a quote from other companies I highly recommend Barton McGill.

Had my table recovered, new pocket liners, nets and rails supplied and fitted. Superb job, very happy with the result. Kerry was very patient and precise with his work, his skills and expertise in his craft certainly showed through. Definitely recommend him & BM if you want to upgrade & continue to enjoy your table for years to come.

We purchased a full-size billiards table on trademe and engaged Barton McGill to dismantle it at origin Silverdale and relocate it to Hastings, reassemble, re-cloth it, mark, re-spot and level ready for play. A huge job over 2 days. Superb service from start to finish - we were impressed to secure a prompt booking under a tight timeframe for the extraction and received excellent communication enroute around arrival timing in Hastings very much appreciated. Kerry provided meticulous, precise and very personable service at destination after a long drive here. A true professional, Kerry patiently and methodically built our table making sure he didn't leave until it was perfect. The personal safety of our labour for the slate lift was also clearly very important to Kerry and our house did not get a single scratch, no damage whatsoever was incurred. Kerry also took the time to answer my questions and explained how to care for table before he left. I highly recommend Barton McGill - would never consider using anyone else!
