Welcome to our family run hostel in Te Anau, New Zealand, beautifully situated on an elevated small farm block, overlooking the mountains of Fiordland National Park.Enjoy the quiet, the views,the birds, the walks.

Story

We cater for young and old, families are welcome. All our rooms have fully made up beds and each has their own bathroom. We are situated on elevated platform, in a rural, quiet setting on a deer farm with each room offering beautiful views toward the Kepler Mountains of Fiordland National Park
We have a fully equipped kitchen, laundry,- and internet facilities (not WiFi I'm afraid) and a free to use pool table in our upstairs lounge area.
We have a lovely open fire to sit around in the evening

Such a lovely place, did not want to leave. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will go back. Bedroom was clean, spacious and had a very nice view.

I loved this place. If you search for a break from hiking this spot will be perfect. Beautiful views to mountains from rooms and common zone you will still feel like being in nature. Great kitchen to prepare all types of meals. Leaflets about activities in zone. Friendly staff. I couldn’t ask for more!
Great value accomodation close to Te Anau - the staff were ok but the kitchen facilities, hot water, internet, hot showers and cabin features really stand out if you're after a place to reenergise! A+ in terms of backpacker locations! We'll be back in the near future!
Amazing Kitchen, great views from the small back camping area where you can tent or park a small van. Bigger RVs probably do not fit through the small access road.

Wonderful place with great view from the rooms. Cozy common place and well equipped kitchen.
Great location if you are going to Doubtful Sound . Only 10 minutes drive to the meeting point at Lake Manapouri . The shared kitchen is well organized and has everything you need . WiFi is a bit weak in the rooms and only works well in the shared area .
