Bake Town Bakery and Cafe

Had a craving this morning and wanted to have some quality bakery. I put trust in the reviews and was let down. Coffee was burned. Potato top pie was cold/warm, the filling was runny it was messy. Lamington was OK no complaints there. Not the worst but just didn't meet my expectation based on these reviews. The shop is clean and tidy and food is fresh. Lady that served me was friendly and unlike other bakeries she did not say "anything else?" LOL. Please note that I went at 6:30am which may explain the pie temperature and coffees in general are hit and miss with all batistas.

Glad I tried their pies! This is a hidden gem in terms of great pies, tried the potato top and steak n cheese pies - really nice. Unlike others where there is too much gravy, gelatin, low quality ingredients or built to fall apart... obviously I haven't seen what they put in it but it tastes like a quality bakery pie.

First time trying this place and all we can say is YUM! we had the smoked chicken and feta quiche, potato top pie, savoury and 2 cream donuts and they were all so moreish but super filling on their own. Love how they have cold quiches we will be back to buy those too. we will definitely be repeat customers. Service was amazing, place looked so nice and clean highly recommend to all looking for yummy bakery food.
