We had a short stay in Rotorua but were very fortunate to stay with Vivien. Vivien is an exceptional host. Full of information on what to do in the area. She even called ahead and booked us a reservation at Te Puia, the local Maori educational center. It was an amazing addition to our trip.nnVivien is an engaging host. Pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The location was also perfect for our trips to Hobbiton and Te Pā Tū.nnA belated thank you, Vivien, for making our stay in the North Island a little more special.
A wonderful place to stay in Rotorua! The accommodations are comfy and the host, Vivian is one of a kind! She is a bevy of information and can help you decide what sights to see, where to shop, and eat, plus she's super friendly and you can tell how much she loves hosting vacationers. The breakfast is great and it is so fun to eat with the other guests. I'd totally stay there again.
Having stayed in hundreds of B&Bs in our years of travel this was honestly one of the best! Very well appointed rooms with great attention to detail, cleanliness, and provision of toiletries. They even have 2 luggage racks in the rooms a pet peeve of mine, reading lights and plugs on both bedside tables. The private veranda for 2 of the rooms were lovely. The hostess knows everyone in town it seemed and can set you up with tickets and recommendations for anything. Would definitely stay here again!
Our family had a lovely stay with Vivien who is incredibly helpful and great to chat with. She is a fantastic source of info, with great recommendations for the area. The rooms are also cosy and beds very comfortable! Thank you for everything!
Staying here was the best decision! The Redwoods were our favorite part of Rotorua, and this place is just a 2-minute drive away. Vivien’s warm hospitality made us feel so welcome, and the cozy room gave us the perfect rest. Her breakfast was fantastic, and her local recommendations were spot on even better than ChatGPT’s!. If you’re coming to Rotorua, I highly recommend staying here.
