Stopped in for quick lunch that turned into a fabulous long lunch due to the most exquisite food and cocktails.nnI was initially dubious about the Peruvian -Japanese fusion but I needn't have been. Everything worked in ways I could never have imagined.nnThe seats were comfy, the music was just the right volume, the staff were there just the right amount and the outlook was lovely.nnI'll definitely be back

Having lived in Auckland for 22 years, I’ve always wanted to dine here whenever I visited Mission Bay. Today—Mother’s Day 2025—I finally stopped by for a meal. The tune of ‘Mamma Mia’ welcomed me ‘Mama Mia’ arrival. Gentleman Agung provided warm and attentive service, the food was perfectly seasoned, and the architectural design was uniquely stylish. Truly a wonderful experience.

The food was tasty, but nothing that really stood out or left a lasting impression on my palate. While it was enjoyable, I was hoping for something more unique or bold in flavor. On the other hand, the cocktails were excellent, well-crafted and full of flavor. The ambiance of the place was beautiful, with a stylish and inviting atmosphere that made the experience pleasant. Overall, it was a nice visit, but the food didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by the setting and drinks.

This is a great Japanese restaurant that’s nearly beachfront. You get beautiful views of the beach and a nice breeze while enjoying some great tasting food. The highlight of this visit would be the Tuna Tostada for us. The volcano roll was pretty good too. The cucumbers were okay, a bit thick and a little bitter so not as enjoyable as I would have liked.

Absolutely incredible dinner experience. We walked in with no reservations, and they were able to seat us quickly with no issues, in the spacious outside area with a fantastic view of the ocean. I recommend making a reservation though, as we were lucky!nThe food itself was absolutely incredible. For two people, 6 plates was the perfect amount! Any more and we would have been unable to move afterwards. Our server, Rory, was incredible! So deeply attentive and really made our dining experience extra special, Thank you!
