Wonderful restaurant with great ambiance and layout. Went here with a group and enjoyed our time there. The food was great, and the staff were accommodating though a little rushed off their feet. It's definitely worth a visit for special occasions.
This is a great Japanese restaurant that’s nearly beachfront. You get beautiful views of the beach and a nice breeze while enjoying some great tasting food. The highlight of this visit would be the Tuna Tostada for us. The volcano roll was pretty good too. The cucumbers were okay, a bit thick and a little bitter so not as enjoyable as I would have liked.
We had their $55 per person Savor Festival menu. It was delicious. As a party of 4, we ordered various items and all tasted great. The ambience from the place was good. Staff was helpful and friendly.
A grandiose restaurant where the meal tasted better from the eyes than the mouth. For how expensive the meal was, my expectations were not met. Particularly with the Rainbow Roll in which it was confusingly and redundantly paired with chia seeds. The dessert was simply average. Granted the other dishes were alright, such as the Salmon Avocado Roll and the Spicy Pork Gyoza. I would recommend this place to those who like a good atmosphere.
Food tasted good except for the steak which was a bit tough. But the flavours were amazing! We ordered the Omakase set menu, beef tostada, sashimi, and a sangria! The set menu was a good experience since we wouldn't normally order some of it. The salmon was one of the best in the bunch, the tostada is a staple, and the dessert was a pleasant ending to the savoury goodness we had that evening.nnThe person who served us was really nice and lovely. He explained the menu well and was patient with us when we were deciding our order. Our water glasses were always topped up and plates were cleared in a timely manner. We also appreciated that they would mention how many pieces each of us will get from the sharing plates. Everything was divided perfectly so that everyone will have a fair piece.nnThe reason why I gave a low score to the service was the person at the til who was a bit rude. Quite impatient and frowning when showing us our table which at first I didn't mind as I understand people can have bad days. But what made me upset was when that person embarrassed my dad in front of other guests when we were paying our bill. I already submitted my feedback to their survey so I won't go into the details but that incident kind of overshadowed the deliciousness of the food as it was the last thing that happened that night. Definitely not the best ending for my dad's and brother's birthday celebrations!nnWe will still come back for the food and just try and keep our interactions with that person to a minimum.
