John and the team are amazing! No pressure to buy just guidance, taking the time to really understand what kind of bike was best suited to me and my style of riding. I had previously been sold a bike from another bike shop which was totally inappropriate for me and as a result had lost all confidence. My new bike thanks to John is 100% perfect and has me back riding with a smile on my face and enjoying cycling with my partner again! Can't recommend these guys highly enough.
The team at My Ride Mount Maunganui have been amazing at helping us with all parts of bike ownership from sizing up and purchasing new bikes, maintaining old ones, going through options for kiddy seats and working out the best solution for putting a bike rack on our vehicle that has an awkward large spare wheel mounted on the rear door. Nothing is ever a problem and we are just very thankful for our friendly local team. Cheers to Leonie and John!
John at My Ride Mt Maunganui always make me feel like a special customer whenever I call in - I appreciate how he takes time to explain technical aspects of my bike’s annual service and any additional parts replacements undertaken, in terms I can understand, and I notice he remembers my stories and preferences from previous visits. In the workshop Phil has just carried out a rebuild of my Scott mountain bike wheels because replacement wheels were not currently available from the supplier – his hands-on technical expertise is impressive. Fantastic customer service all round!
An extremely helpful & knowledgeable team here. Did a bike fit today on my road bike & got some new shoes. Helpful advice moving forward, measurements kept on file & offer of adjustments where required once I've settled into the new positioning. Thanks heaps guys.
Just like to say thank you for fixing my very broken bike. Four days before the Lake Taupo ride my rear derailleur decided to wreck itself. Phil and the gang managed to source a new part and fix it in time for me to ride. Chapeau.
Awesome service from the guys at My Ride Mt Maunganui. Stayed late/ kept shop open on a Friday night just to fix my bike as a very last minute service job so I could make the Tauranga half. Tx

Great service. Very happy with new ebike they recommended for me as a up grade from my first e bike which i had reached potential on.
They were instrumental in helping me tune up, price, and sell my own bike at a very reasonable price. They even helped the new owner with a fitting to ensure it was the right bike for his size. I can't recommend them enough for amazing customer service, but also overall knowledge of bikes.
Absolutely epic service! Spent ages fixing my sons bike so he could race at AIMS. Did a great job for a great price. Highly recommend!!!
