Stayed while busvwas getting fixed was ok had spa bath in room gud size bath

My husband and I travelled from China to New Zealand to see family for a wedding. On arrival we were able to check in early as the owner upgraded our room which helped our jet lag tremendously. Throughout our stay the manager welcomed us with open arms and recommended some local attractions, restaurants, and sight seeings such as the Mount. The cleanliness of the room was immaculate as well as the beds, allowing me and my husband to enjoy a comfortable sleep and again aid with our jet lag. Overall very pleased with our stay and will be back, highly recommend to anyone considering staying here.

The rooms were spotless. The towels fluffy and the bed really comfortable with great pillows!nCouldn't hear the traffic noise despite it being on a busy road. Great value for money. Check in via John was efficient and welcoming. I'll stay again.

100% do not recommend this place!! The owner was VERY rude and racist to my family and I when we stayed here. We would ask for help at reception and the owner would give a rude response and dismiss our problem. Also, upon check-in, we were told that something was wrong with our booking, although when we checked on our phones it was correct, but the owner made us pay an extra fee or we wouldn’t be able to stay at the accommodation we already paid for, we knew it was unfair and ridiculous, but we were from out of town and didn’t have an alternative place to stay or enough money to afford another accommodation last minute during summer btw.nOverall don’t stay here if you’re not fair-skinned!!! We felt very uncomfortable and scammed for the unprofessional/ lack of service provided and will not be returning or recommending this accommodation again!!
