Apple tree childcare centre has two great locations on the North Shore. Our Albany and Glenfield centres are the perfect home away from home.

Story

At Apple Tree Childcare centre, our relationships with children and their whanau form the foundation of their home away from home. Therefore we believe that establishing warm and meaningful relationships enables educators to provide the best possible care, curriculum and learning environment. That is also nurturing, safe and empowering. We believe in setting a foundation for lifelong learning through fostering social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive development and focusing on each child’s individual strengths and abilities.

Choosing suitable childcare can be a daunting task. I was lucky enough to have found Apple Tree on Archers Rd a few years ago when we first emigrated to New Zealand. When we walked through their doors all those years ago we knew that our son was in good hands. Fast forward a few years to when baby number 2 needed day care, my husband and I knew that there was nowhere else we would want to send our little one, other than Apple Tree. Joane and her lovely team of teachers handled our daughter’s transition into pre-school with such care, attentive to her needs daily - which eased our minds. When walking through the doors each morning you hear music playing, and both parent and child are greeted with warmth and friendliness, starting the day off the best way - leaving a very happy little person at school. When collecting in the afternoon, you witness happy children laughing, playing and exploring. What more can a parent ask for? The teachers care for the children as if they were their own, building such positive relationships using the foundations of love and care. There is so much kindness and positivity that fills up this childcare centre, and it is all because of those lovely ladies. The menu at Apple Tree is delicious, scrumptious and healthy, and has been put together with children’s cultures in mind - which is absolutely awesome knowing my picky eater is going to try new foods Apple Tree Glenfield is not just a fantastic establishment, it is a family. I cannot recommend Apple Tree enough.
I viewed many daycares before joining Apple tree for my 2 year old. Hes 4 now and has blossomed under the care of the loving attentive teachers. The facility is exceptionally clean and always kept like that. They offer fresh cooked meals and halal option is a plus. Highly recommend this daycare.
I am thrilled to share my positive experience with Appletree. My son has been attending Appletree for sometime now and I couldn't be happier with an environment and education he receives. The teachers and staff at Appletree are exceptional. They create warm and nurturing atmosphere that has significantly contributed to my son's development and happiness. I appreciate the dedicated and caring approach they take towards each child, fostering both educational and social growth. I highly recommend Appletree to any parent looking for wonderful daycare for their child :
My daughter and son really enjoyed Apple Tree Day Care on Archers Road. From a busy working father's perspective, they make it easy here for you in terms of keeping in touch about the children's progress and any issues that arise. The premises is organized and very clean. The food is healthy, structured, and different every day. I can see the teachers have different designated roles, things run smoothly here. The syllabus is varied and interesting for the kids'. If you're looking for a daycare, I can recommend Apple Tree in Glenfield.
We searched long and hard for a Childcare Centre like Apple Tree after our previous daycare dropped the ball too often . From the get go we felt extremely welcome and more importantly our daughter felt very safe and appreciated here . The staff are warm , friendly and very very accomplished in what they do , they really care about your kids as much as you do . They really are an important asset to this Centre ! They always have lots of activities and cultural days that you can get involved in . Also they have a great transition to school program and supply healthy and nutritious food . Our daughter is sadly departing here to start school after a number of years here and many great memories! From two busy hard working parents , You will all be missed , thank you so much for shaping our daughter from a toddler into a Awesome 5 year old ready for the School world !
My son Sami absolutely loves Apple Tree. Their professionalism and care is second to none! Their teachers are extremely friendly and the fact their staff retention is high shows what a great centre this is. Sami has learnt new skills which he struggled to do in his past daycare, so moving him was the best decision I've ever made. Thank you so much!
We had a great experience at Apple Tree, everything was fantastic there and we especially loved how much effort and love went into all the year round events. The teaching staff were amazing and I was very impressed by the pathways to school programme which helped make the transition to school much easier.
Awesome child care my daughter loves going there making heaps of friends, teachers are lovely friendly as and welcoming. Reasonable pricing as well compared to other day cares fully recommended
Amazing preschool, very friendly and loving teachers. Our daughter loves attending and on her days off asks if she can go. The management is very approachable and easy to deal with.
