Great food... Especially if you have a hungry stomach!
A friend and I went here based on a article/review on The Urban List making this place sound amazing and it was actually hugely disappointing! The food was below average and was extremely bland. I had the Buttermilk Chicken sandwich and it was very flavourless and for $15 just for the sandwich definitely not worth it. My friends food was also below average... It took quiet a while to get the food also so would have expected it to be better. Would not recommend at all and will not return.
My friend and I came here after seeing it on The Urban List - the burgers looked great however were a huge disappointment flavour wise. I ordered the Al Burger as a combo that came with fries, coleslaw and a pickle. The burger was cold when it arrived, and needed more seasoning. The coleslaw was a disappointment too with hardly any dressing It was 99% shredded cabbage, 1% carrot and you could barely taste the vinaigrette. The only highlight of the meal were the fries which were pretty good. We won't be back, seriously not worth the $20.
Good portion sizes and good value. Everything was cooked to perfection. I went for the double rack of ribs and was not disappointed ended up taking half of them home. My partner had the halloumi salad which was really tasty. We will be coming back for more.
Food is nice. I like the cauliflower wings but the staff were so incredibly rude it was very off putting. They were standoffish when we walked in and although we made no complaints and were smiley and polite to them in spite of their crappy attitude, they didn't get any better. It was uncomfortable to be there at all. Shame.
First time we went food was enjoyable and had a short wait, probably because we were the only customers in there. Last time we went, waited half an hour for a burger and a hotdog before finally leaving. Uber Eats customers take precedence over dine in customers. One chef who seemed to have a very relaxed demeanour and in no hurry to get food out. Won't be going back.
This place was underwhelming. My wife and I love a good diner, we've been to them all across America. The food here was very primative for the price, and the basic flavours became sickly towards the end of the meal. We found this with the dogs, burgers and the poutine. Great drinks though, and friendly staff.
Two of the worst burgers I've ever had. Sorry people, I really wanted it to be good but 5 days later and I'm still in shock over how bad it was. Nice atmosphere, and nice staff, but we were there for the burgers and they were rubbish. Mine was a chicken burger absolutely drowning in hot sauce which kinda helped because the bun was dry and stale, but the mass of watery sauce eventually caused the whole thing to implode in a mess all over the plate Her's was beef with mac n cheese it sounded awesome but dry, stale and the meat pattie was like an old, cheap, back-of-the-deep-freeze variety - we were both shocked I thought it would be gourmet style bugers.. the prices are Maybe we just hit it on a bad day? its possible but we won't be back. To be fair - the poutine was good! It's kinda hard to F that up though...
Service couldn't really be faulted but the food was a massive let down. Bread was tasting on the old side, no presentation and zero love went into making the Good! Lucky the service was good otherwise we would've been spewing
Delicious food, good coffee, vegan options and friendly staff
