The Bakers Cottage

Have you ever seen the award-winning Disney+ show “The Bear”? Do you want a taste of it in real life? The Baker’s Cottage, on New North Road is the place to go. They have a variety of delicious baked goods. Personally, my favourite is the corned beef sandwich. My partner’s is the plum and almond tart. Very much worth the effort finding the parking for. Hopefully, once the new Auckland light-rail is built, Baker’s Cottage is a stop!

Amazing selection at Bakers Cottage with a good mix of sweet and savoury treats. I've been looking for a bakery that still sells cronuts and was recommended this place! It was fantastic! Delicious buttery layers with a custard filling.

Coffee is always amazing and consistent. Sandwiches and Pies are lovely. I really enjoy some of the tarts as well! this is also an extremely busy place especially during lunch time but the staff are always amazingly friendly and will always give you smile eventhough you can clearly see they are tired from running around non-stop! Oh they also do cakes and the kids love it! Will definitely recommend this place with a 10/10!

Huge selection of pies, cakes, pastries and more available and they were all very affordably priced. The potato top pies were delicious! Visited during lunch time and service was great.

While out hunting for Hot Cross Buns, I stumbled upon The Bakers Cottage, I live in the area and didn't know of them. The hotXBuns were delicious, coffee was great, I'll be back to try the other goodies now I know where they are.

My partner and I have been coming here regularly for the past few months to the point I worry staff are getting sick of us The team is always so lovely, and we usually come for the pies. It is actually unbelievable how delicious it is. Potato top Pork Belly and Potato top chicken bacon and mushroom to name a few I never thought I'd justify spending nearly $10 on a pie sometimes more than one at least 3-5 times a week. I love Baker’s Cottage! Stopped by earlier and we grabbed potato top pork belly pies, lemon cupcake, quiche, sausage roll, bacon and egg pie, beef sub and breakfast brioche for the fam. The food was delicious and never disappoints!

Really really yummy cabinet food. Plus the specialty cakes are to die for. Pies, quiches, rolls, sweets and bread baked on the premises. Been as a bakery for years but recently expanded to a cafe. Very worthwhile visit, make this a regular destination.

one of the best bakeries in Auckland. great food and pies for a good price. if you're hungover do not sleep on this place.
