Hardly impactful nor helpful. From OT to physio. Noone cares about post concussion symptoms nor do they care about you. No word about finishing up with either practitioner, no one to follow up on a complaint. As long as the boxes are ticked that's it. No real problem solving or assistance. My physio notes and exercises are three words written on a piece of paper ripped out of a diary. OT more judgemental than compassionate caring and listening. Very disappointed with my experience here I am left feeling lost and hopeless. Seriously don't understand what the point was of being signed off to this service. No help with ACC and would rather lecture you on how many visits you have left than actually helping. OT drops off printed pieces of paper on how to manage anxiety but nothing to do with the actual head injury. Noone listened about my bilateral neck fracture either. Just a bunch of ' I know better than you' instead of how can I help assist your recovery and make things easier for you and help you understand what's going on, how to move forward and what to expect. Still facing major issues from my injury with no one to help. Good one guys.
Great ABI rehabilitation centre with all the workers and healthcare specialists on site. Thankful for the opportunity to have received treatment.
