After reading the reviews, I thought I'd be in for a long wait. I did pop in during lunch hours today, and was served straight away. The new location in Parumoana St is much better too.
Worst experience EVER. Went to apply for my drivers licence due to expiring, I was serviced by a sour looking blonde girl. I had to do the eye test and she was extremely rude. I didnt understand her question and made a snarky rude comment and failed me. I left feeling belittled. I went to have my eyes tested at an optometrist and the optometrist said I should have passed. The optometrist gave me a letter and I went straight back to AA and low and behold got HER again. Gave her the form. She pretended she didnt recognise me and was civil to say the least. Never going to Porirua AA again.
Went here to get my drivers license… it was generally a mixed bag.nnIt got off to an awful start - dealing with Kushla older white lady, blond hair, at the start was awful. She was very rude and abrupt to deal with; in the event we unfortunately had incorrect ID, I found her quite condescending, and I felt that this was exasherbated by my young yet legal, age.nnHowever, from there the rest of the team were excellent. I really liked the experience that Arvinder provided cleaned the sour taste left by Kushla, and the rest of the team were quite nice too, although unfortunately I don’t remember their names.nnInterestingly when I later visited again, Kushla totally ignored us - makes me wonder if she knew the way she acted was not inline with company values.nnTwo days we visited - This afternoon and yesterday evening - please pass my thanks to the rest of the team, I find the thought of how often the rest of the team must have to deal with grumpy customers after Kushla quite concerning.
Worst experience I had as the customer service rep who was young lady was rude and unhelpful. When i asked their manager to open another counter due to long queue she starred at me and started arguing with me. didnt expected such service from AA. staff needs to be trained to behave well with customers.
Excellent service. Thank you Arvinder. Total journey took 44 minutes from entry to exit. 9 customers in front in me in line, so including myself about 4 minutes per client, which is awesome. Mostly 2 staff members manning the desk.nnGive yourself time, the staff are doing their best.
