Story

Stand-up Paddle boarding is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and is just getting started in NZ! The equipment is simple and easy to transport, it's not to hard to pick up the basics and opens up a whole world of adventure!.

It's sweet that a 10'2" all round board can take you for a cruise around the harbour, down a class3 river rapid, catch a fish for dinner and charge the6 foot surf at the local reef break. They really are that versatile and cool!

As I said to the personal: i actually ought to complain that they serve the best pizza I ever had I am 64 years old and it has to be 20.000 Km away from my home in Denmark!!! Thanks for a great meal. Great beer. Superfriendly personal, lovely place.Food: 5/5

We arrived without a booking at around 5pm on a sunny Monday evening in November. We joined a small queue which the manager moved through quickly. Those with bookings were sat first. We only waited a few minutes and were given what I think is the best 2 person table in the house - right at the back of the restaurant on high stools looking towards the sea - fantastic. Service was incredibly attentive - I dare say the best we have had in NZ so far. We had a pizza and burger - both were very tasty and we were warned they would likely come at different times as the pizza kitchen and main kitchen are separate - this was fine with us. Drink service was rapid and staff were super friendly and seemed to work brilliantly as a team to cover everyone’s needs. Views towards the sea towards Abel Tasmin were fantastic. All this and áranos le pricing too ! We’ll done - if we ever make it back this way we will definitely visit again but would book ahead and ask for those same seats.
We had a couple lovely wood fired pizzas! Medium size so roughly one per person if you like your pizza. Gorgeous huge wood table tops. Loos are in the cafe area but I'd recommend the public doc ones outside as they are more spacious and better facilitiesFood: 4/5

We arrived and were really excited because we had heard great things about the pizzas. We had 2 gluten free pizzas and they were the worst we’ve come across. Salad was terrible too. We left disappointed and the owners son was quite rude to us. Will skip this place next time I don’t like to leave negative reviews.Food: 1/5
Awesome experience! Lovely place, very nice staff, great crafted beers and food. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in NZ. Thanks for this delicious experience. We will definitely come back again!
Can't recommend this place more I always make sure to come here when I visit Abel Tasman. Everything I've ever ordered has been an absolute masterpiece.. you can tell the chefs really cares about ensuring every meal is amazing. The staff are so friendly & the atmosphere is relaxed, unique & groovy.. such Golden Bay vibes thanks Park Cafe team, you rock
The pizza and the beers were amazing after our 15 km hike! We're real pizza fans and bakers ourselves and we thought the pizza's were perfect Napolitano pizza's! The only thing they can improve is the tomato sauce. I don't believe they use San Marzano tomatoes. That would definitely improve the flavour. Both service and ambiance were great!
good food, had both dinner good pizzas and breakfast good avo on toast. Definitely worth it when they do a live music gig. friendly staff and good beers! Not particularly cheap - but maybe not used to NZ prices yet..
