1841 Bar Restaurant

This would be our 3rd visit together as a 3-some as it's usually 4 of us. Lil sis, mum and I enjoyed our lovely starters of twister prawns followed by our lovely main meal of steak, chicken, and burger meal with lovely salad and hot chips. The service also so good as usual, considering the many diners in at the time... See you next time and thanks again for always such a great meal and likewise service. PS Wow I had to take a pic of the cool art work in the ladies. No, I never had any alcoholnot that day!!

A pretty decent place! Staff are very friendly, prices are really good and food is very tasty. One of the best bars I've been to in a while. They also have a nice outdoor area and a flash gambling area.Food: 4/5

Absolutely live 1841. We've been going here weekly since moving to Johnsonville. They always got something going on quiz nights or live music or food deals. Came here after Xmas to try the new menu and it did not disappoint. There's really no bad food at 1841 so whatever you choose will be great however I highly recommend the Ribs or the Wedges.

200g Ironside steak was delicious as ever. I usually get this, and I'm never disappointed! Steak was done nicely and really tasty! Chips are fresh and crispy. The garlic butter is a nice touch whether you leave it on your steak or leave it to melt over the chips: and I never have any complaints about the rest of the dish. You will definitely be full after this meal. The protion sizes are generous at 1841. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. She mentioned that she was about 3 weeks new to the job, but we all thought she did a great job!

We came on a night that they were understaffed, and sensibly had a chalkboard saying so, but the service was totally seamless. Staff were working very hard; going up and down the stairs laden with steaming meals, but still finding time to check if we wanted anything more. Everyone was friendly and we never felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff unlike some higher end restaurants *cough*Charlie Noble*cough*. A warm and welcoming family night out and excellent value.

Our party of four enjoyed our visit to 1841. Friendly service. Good food. Adequate portions. Lots of sport options on TVs dotted around the place. It was bigger than I expected. Easy parking.

Very nice food with really good friendly service. It was really busy when came in but we got a seat, water and drinks ordered right away. I had the chicken schnitzel and my companions had the chicken caeser salads. All were generous portions and tasty. Will definitely come again.

Cannot fault their service, food or wine selection. Our waitress was a gem - funny/cheeky and set the atmosphere, meals were delicious and huge in size.. you certainly don’t go hungry. Definitely our new favourite place to go!! It can be hard to hear when it’s busy but minor issue when everything else is 5 stars.
