Welcome to the 10 Cottages in Franz Josef, a unique accommodation business right in the heart of the village.

Story

Welcome to the 10 Cottages! We offer detached ensuite rooms backing on to native bush in a quiet residential location yet only 3 minutes walk to the centre of the Village, restaurants, tour activities and glow worm walks. Only 150 metres to the nearest restaurant.

Free Wifi for the duration of your stay. Fully double glazed with electric blankets, flat screen tv's with satellite TV. Mini kitchens with microwaves, guest laundry and parking by your Cottages.

Most Cottages offer views of snowy Mountains and rainforest. Locally owned and operated we are happy to share with you, our local knowledge of activities and walks in the area.

What a great find this was. We loved our overnight stay here. Fantastic bush views, great location and very quiet. Everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Modern, clean and tidy facilities close to food and beverages
Great, affordable accommodation in the small community of Franz Josef. The cottages are clean, tidy, pleasant decor and containing the usual small appliances. Friendly, helpful staff at check - in.
Beautiful, modern facilities lovely view of the mountains but you also feel like you are really in the rainforest. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Short walking distance from everything in town and some outstanding combination deals to get you up onto the glacier too.
Cottage was clean and spacious with ram leading up pretty handicap friendly. Nice that there is a lot for each car too. Location is good. We enjoyed both nights there.
