Excellent customer service level. Excellent bikes. Tom was very helpful in helping my two sons and my daughter find the right bike. I highly recommend visiting 99 Bikes if you want a reasonable price, quality service, quality products, and excellent support in making the right decision.

I have had fairly good experiences with the sales staff (two purchases in the last week). Easy, fairly helpful, friendly. I wish I had of read the other reviews on here before I got some servicing done as there is a common theme in the reviews - good sales staff and rubbish customer service and quality of work from the mechanics and repairs part of the store. My first experience getting service work (fixing broken spokes on a wheel) was terrible. I was told it would be ready in the morning, so my wife (kindly as she had our 2 year old son with her) went in to pick it up just before lunch. She was told they hadn’t started it yet and was brushed off by being told to come back “sometime later” in the afternoon. I received a text from the shop to say it was fixed (a helpful thing) about 30 minutes after this happened. This reflects poor customer care and a lack of thoughtfulness as my wife had left the store and instead could have waited around (and on a side note when she left the store was hit by a car who thought they could turn right from a lane with only a left turning arrow - which could have been avoided if the store had a) followed through on the initial statement that it would be ready in the morning, or b) had of told her that they were getting straight onto it and it would be ready in 30 minutes - she could have just waited in the store). My wife found the attitude of the staff member in the service department to be rude, disinterested, detached and lacking courtesy (on both occasions when she was in the store). I wanted to give this local store a chance but after this experience I won’t be back and will get all my service work done in a customer-oriented store.

My son was recently knocked off his bike by a teacher and the school offered to replace the bike. They went to 99 bikes which is where we had purchased the bike originally and the lack of understanding and rudeness of the manager Tom was astounding. He was reluctant to replace the bike instead telling me i needed to bring the original bike in for assessment to be fixed. This is not what was agreed with the school as I had informed them the frame was damaged as well as the wheel. he informed me I was not his customer the school was. He is correct as I have purchased our last 3 bikes through 99, I am no longer their customer as of now. Absolutely terrible service after a very stressful week of my son being hurt. You should be ashamed of yourself Tom.

Awesome staff, awesome shop. But specifically George is definetley some one to talk to. Outstanding explanations asto the differences of frames and geometries to make my decision easier. 100% can recommend this store.

Excellent customer service! My pram's tyre had a leak and I took it in with the hope of getting it sorted. The guy that served me was very friendly and knew exactly what tube I needed and he fitted it straight away!
