I bought my first car here and I had the worst experience. My car engine was turned off in the middle of motorway but they never refunded. After it happened again, however, they still asked to fix the car. Thanks to God, I'm still alive but I drive that car everyday with fear for crash. You can argue any trouble you have with them but their customer service will repeat what they're taught like a voice recording service. I strongly recommend "Too Cheap Cars" if you have enough time to visit vehicle garage or be ready to hire a lawyer for refund.

Bought a 2008 Honda fit from them last October and here was my experience: THE GOOD - No pushy sales tactics. Vincent let me have a look around and consider my options. He's not at all the usual talkative salesman (which I absolutely hate), and he's just there to answer questions when needed. Spent about an hour weighing my choices and test driving 2 vehicles, and he patiently attended to all my queries & requests. - Excellent communication. Everything went smoothly from inspection, payment, to delivery of the car. - Reliable car so far. I've driven the car for more than 3 months now (500+ kms), though mostly within 15km from my home, and so far I've had no major problems with it. The minor ones are below. - Good customer service hotline. THE NOT SO GOOD : - Car accessories not as described (Though this was partly my fault for not inspecting it thoroughly first before driving off). I forgot to check whether there was a spare wheel, and upon checking a week after I bought it, there was none. So I texted the store, and they said that only a tire repair kit was included (apparently, more recent vehicles no longer carry a spare tire). I checked the kit, but there was no air pump/compressor included unlike the picture shown in their website. I therefore asked if they could provide a pump, and they said they will, but I had to go all the way to their store again to pick it up which was a hassle. - Faulty battery. After a week, I started my car one morning but the engine wouldn't start and all it did was emit clicking noises. I checked the battery and it was dead. I recall before test driving at the store that they also had to charge it first, so I figured the battery was faulty. I called their customer service hotline and asked if all their cars were equipped with new batteries, and said that they only install new batteries if the charge is below 70% (or was it 50%?). They checked their records and it turns out that the store gave me an old battery. The battery labels were all in Japanese so this must've still been from the original owner. In any case, customer service said they will send a new battery for free to replace the faulty one. It took a week for the new battery to be delivered, but it came so all was good. - Dodgy cars in their inventory. Now this one you have to be really careful of. We test drove a gray 2007 Honda Fit, and we haven't even left the store's driveway to know that the car sounded funny. The engine vibrations were so loud it gave us a headache within minutes of driving the car. The front exterior looked like it had been painted on but only noticeable if you take a really good look, so most likely this car was damaged before. When they had to move cars to bring out the one I wanted to test drive, one of the cars also had a really loud funny-sounding engine. So be wary of these ones. SOME ADVICE : - Check everything from engine to accessories before purchasing and leaving the store with the car. - Test drive a car thoroughly before even thinking of buying it. Bring someone who is knowledgeable about cars with you to check if the engine sounds okay. - Haggle! The prices are not final, so use every trick in the book you know to bring it down. :) I'll update this review if any major mechanical problems are found in the car when I get it inspected again for the WoF, but all in all, my experience with 2Cheap Cars was good, and I'm very happy with the car I bought! :)

Bought a vehicle from them at start of year. Found out after 2 days that there was an issue with rear suspension and brakes, making a loud noise. Contacted them and it took them a few days to reply. After another email they finally replied and pointed us to a mechanic shop they use. This mechanic shop is about 25 minutes drive from the dealership, which does not make sense. We phoned the shop and they said we will need to book appointment. Finally we took the vehicle into mechanic shop and they assessed the issue. They said they will need to wait for approval from dealership. This approval process took 5 weeks. The dearlership would not reply to our emails or messages. Meanwhile the suspension and brakes issue is getting worse and worse. The dealership finally replied and said they were waiting for mechanic. The mechanic said they hadn't heard from dealership. Another 2 weeks later, we were finally at mechanic to 'fix' the issue. About 2 days later, the noise from rear of vehicle started happening again. We took vehicle back to mechanic (3rd trip) across town. We finally gave up as the mechanic still couldn't fix the issue. We took it to Mazda Auckland in Central Auckland and they fixed the issue which we paid $500 for. We didn't even bother trying to recoup our cost from 2Cheap Cars. Dealing with them has been very painful and we learned our lesson. If we could give zero start we would. These people are the lowest of the low, no ethics and no morals.
