Great venue for small shows so lucky to see Tash Sultana here.
This place R-O-C-K-S!! No-nonsense stage setting but awesome PA - the sound penetrates to the bone! Parking at 222 Russell is reasonably priced if pre-booked online.
Saw Tash Sultana play who of course was a machine! The venue was pretty cool though...
Really awesome venue for the best live acts. Small and intimate enough to get up close. Well known enough to get international acts. Nina Nesbitt was amazing tonight.
Mid gig sanitising of the poles impressive.
Consistently decent sound and lighting for shows here. And the way the place is sort of tiered towards the back means there are plenty of placed where you can see the band.
A smooth experience on entry. Heavy security presence inside the venue so feels very safe. Bar staff very friendly. Smoking area is limited capacity but short waiting times.
Seems a well run venue with a good layout. Thankfully much cooler than outside in Australian summer.
Amazing concert yesterday in 170 Russell Melbourne. Max & Iggor Cavalera, playing the albums Beneath the Remains and Arise, with a local band called Primitive .. Very good sound and good management. In Melbourne center CBD, with a lot of restaurants close. I will return soon, as they bring good bands to play there.
