Very disappointed will be my first and last visit. I ordered a takeaway cheese and bacon burger minus bacon which should come with salad and onion rings, I got a patty with cheese. The chips were undercooked and soggy. Definitely not worth $16!
Have been to the Twisted Bean Diner a few time with fantastic staff and great fresh food. Today was interesting, when we arrived we were told the chief had left and would be back in about 10 minutes. A couple of minutes later she arrived back and was obviously not happy. She had seen our cars and returned before reaching Coles. We ordered and paid then sat outside. We were the only people at the Diner. Our granddaughter got the only salt pepper and napkins off another table and set ours. She went inside and took a table number and put it on our table. A minute later the female cook marched out of the kitchen came outside and swiped the number off our table and smashed it down on the table inside. I felt very uncomfortable in front of my family, if I haven't had paid we would have walked. The food was fresh and well cooked the young male waiter was very polite and attentive. The new owners from Tasmania have put a lot of effort into making this a great diner, paying customers deserve a better dining experience than this.
Totally in love with this sweet little diner! The staff are so chilled and friendly, and hubby and I always leave with happy bellies. They make epic burger stacks for meat lovers and are always accommodating to my vegan diet! Something for everyone!!
I don’t like to leave bad reviews but after our TuckerFox order I was left extremely disappointed! Hot dogs not great, onion rings bland, and crispy wings with BBQ sauce somehow showed up as a chopped up chicken schnitzel with BBQ sauce and some weird salad instead. Terrible food Ruined my lazy Saturday night I wish I drove to Maccas. Stay away
Came and had the Quinoa salad and milkshakes with my missus. It was alright overall. I can see this place stagnating though as the milkshakes seemed inspired but lacking. Flavor was very weak and seemed poorly made. Quinoa was nice but not sure how fresh it was. Has potential but don't expect high quality.
Hit and Miss. Bad with consistency. Sizes of meals change from order to order. The size of the pattie varies greatly. Last time I had a large meat pattie with a bun so small it made hard to eat. I ordered extra bacon at a cost but it wasn’t added. They also change the onion rings from battered to crumbed. Don’t like the crumbed ones. Tonight’s meal was over 20mins late. Burger was cold kind of slapped together small tasteless meat pattie that fell apart not in a good way. And instead of the BBQ sauce on the menu it was some kind of tomato relish. Very disappointed.
Tried to eat breakfast here last Saturday. Says open at 9am drove off after 9am still no movement. When you say open at 9am that from my understanding means open and ready for trading at 9am or even maybe slightly before not unlock the door sometime after 9 and then bring out tables chairs and so on. Have some respect for your customers.
Just incredible! The food was insane, the decor wonderful and the lady who served us was so friendly. You've got a new customer here!
Lovely place and owners. Let us eat with our two dogs at the outside tables. Gave the dogs water. All four of us enjoyed the food. Thank you.
Such friendly service and love the atmosphere, highly recommend going. Very good value for great sized meals, yummy best nachos ever!
