Iv never posted a review before but i just had to and i feel bad for doing it but i dont feel right not saying anything. Unfortunately the dentist at 1300 smiles caloundra is the worst dentist i have been to. Im really sorry to say but even after i e-mailed the dentist the response i got was heartbreaking! Im a true blue aussie and im pretty straight down the line. So i will get to the point. I called the practice at 930am with a server tooth ache and they couldn't fit me in untill tuesday, it was Thursday by the way. After going to this dentist for years and years they denied me an appointment when i needed it the most! When i finally got in i asked them to take and xray of the tooth because of course i went on google and looked up all my symptoms and advice. When they showed me the xray the dentist had explained that their was a large area of cavity and i need a root canal. I was ok with this because i thought its normal at age 27 to have one. But then he explained that their is more cavities in the other teeth and they may need root canal. i grasp'd and almost cried. I have been going to this dentist for 8 years now and only had 2 xrays in this time. I spoke to my friends and their usual dentist do very comprehensive exams every 6 months with the xray and tell you honestly whats wrong and get the denist to fix what they need before it gets too late and you have to spend thousands at the dentist. I am a 2ce a day brusher i occasionally floss because let face the facts and be honest no one flosses everyday. But the thing that topped it off was they said that i needed a crown i waz okay with this but then they said that they send the crown thing to china!!! No thank you aussie made is the best. All in all i sent an email to the owner and my response was sorry we cant help you were not the right dentist for you?! Like what?
