Super impressed with the dim sum today. Friendly and quick service. They are a bit cheeky with higher pricing for westerners but it still worked out to only $17 per head and we were perfectly full. So it’s okay Highly recommend the fried pork and prawn gyoza style dumpling and the scallops and prawn dumpling. And always with chilli paste. Too good Thanks team!
Average restaurant with dated furnishings and decor. Didn’t wait long to be served but it was after 1:30pm and fairly quiet. Duck had more bones than meat. Rest of the food was nice but nothing outstanding. A bit overpriced for what you get even after the 1:30pm discount applied
Overcharged almost everyone we've been there. The male owner is rude and makes you feel uncomfortable. Over the last 2 years the quality of food has gone down hill and on a few occassions we've sent food back as it's been rubbery so to speak which usually means it's been reheated a number of times. We travel to Northbridge now and couldn't be happier.

Nice food here, always fast and good. We come here regularly for a fast sit down meal. Buns and dumplings are good. The favourite is the squid legs with batter, salt and chilli. They do sticky rice. All sorts of wonderful things. Yay! Can be crowded. The staff are very helpful. Food trolleys don't take long to appear once you are shown to your table. Delicious!
Very bad mannered people. Advertised 30% off for Dim Sum after 1 30 pm. Arrived at 1.30pm and after meal advised that we had arrived at 1.20pm, not true their clock was 12 minutes slow. Even if it was 10 minutes too early which it wasn't good manners and service would have seen flexibility and an honouring of there commitment.
Have been going to Yummy BBQ for many years and the food has mostly been great, the price seems to be the same right or wrongly no matter how many dishes you have??!! Went there last week and it is obvious that the owners have been reading the reviews, there were smiles everywhere and they could not do enough for us, it did not seem like the same restaurant, as we always found the sour faced owners so humorous. The other staff are always friendly.
Go somewhere else! Don't get ripped off and talked to like dirt. Can't say I've ever been shocked at pricing before, or stopped to ask if they made a mistake. $14 for vegetarian fried rice, a few dollars more than regular, with the meat swapped out for celery. The serving size was bigger than usual, but all I could taste was celery. I waited with another customer outside, sharing our disappointments, ditch this place if you can.
It was ok value at the old %30 discount after 13:30 for Yum Char but now it’s a bit expensive for less than average food., unless your Chinese then there is a different price. The dishes that should be steamed were less than tepid which leaves half of the item stuck to the steamer, fried food was refried in burnt oil which tasted a bit old also. The staff were the usual grumpy & short and a fake split second smiles. The good thing was the tea was ok and hot.
Quality food and reasonably priced, one of the best in perth for salt and pepper squid with your dim sum and Chinese tea lunchtime meal. I have been enjoying the duck in plum sauce for years now, always great. There are many delicious dishes served here and some that I have not found anywhere else in Perth for their unique delicious flavours and style, like the pork belly. Just make sure that you have enough room to try a little or a lot of each.
