First time coming here since it changed management. The menu has slimmed down but it seems like they’re focusing on the dishes they’re good at because everything was really delicious. I had the char kuay teow and I thought it was very authentic, and with medium spice it had just enough kick without setting your mouth on fire. Will definitely be back!

Penang white laksa broth was flavorful and got depth; prawn was overcooked but overall quite a satisfying dish.  Beef rendang seasoning was great although the meat could have been more tender and cooked longer as the tendons and fat were not edible.  Fried chicken skin was crispy and still moist inside but unfortunately we had a piece with raw meat. While the staff gave us an additional free serve, it's a potential food poisoning event I guess I will find out later.

Best laksa I've had in ages. The ingredients all seemed so fresh and the paste was packed with flavour. Looking forward to returning.

new ipoh garden restaurant open! ipoh hor fun is ~$15 where as in the old restaurant it was $11 so there is a definite price increase. prawn pieces are big but would say the dish overall delicious but is a bit oily and leaves that kind of oily layer in your mouth. famous inchikabin chicken is $12 for around 6-7 prices which were quite small and sweet but overall similar to the old restaurant. staff nice and friendly and good bright environment.

Freshly renovated interior, very bright and well spaced tables. We had the Laksa, the ipoh horfun and the prawn noodles.  Good portions, and cut chilli easily available.

Used to frequent during my uni days; returned to see that the menu has changed. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. She recommended the hokkien mee and, just look at the picture. It says it all. Great service, great food.Food: 5/5

A really great little lunch spot. Limited menu means dishes are well cooked and not spread across several cuisines. Amazing fried chicken with hot sauce was my dish of choice but I'll be going back for the rendang next time.Food: 5/5

Had Penang white curry this week. Disappointed. Curry is weak, not tasty. It's a bowl of soupy mixed noodles with a spoon of curry paste, which is not enough to make this dish fragrant and tasty. Adding to the disappointment is the price $15.90, an increase of about about 25%. It's way beyond inflation rate and totally unjustifiable. Menu is small. Prices are much higher compared to other Malaysian/Singapore eateries. Will certainly not come back. There are many choices nearby.

New menu is amazing! Vegan options for days. Portion sizes are very generous and reflective of the small price increase. Fantastic quality and lovely staff.

Tried for the first time. Should say, Their char kway teow was really good.  I got food poisoning from their fried chicken, been throwing up couple of times in the morning. Couldn’t make to work the next day.  After ringing them and informing about the chicken they been serving to the customers and asked them to stop. The owner’s only reply was “ will let the staff know about the situation “ What a customer service!  Never going back here again.
