Yuan's Wok

Have been coming to Yuan’s Wok for so long and the braised pork, mince and rice continues to be my ultimate go to comfort dish- no frills just yummy. After having been in Taiwan, this braised pork stacks up pretty damn good and keep coming back for more. All round yummy bowl of food and very well priced at just $13. They have a really extensive menu, highly recommended!

Used to come here when I was in uni 5 years ago. The waitress knew us so well she would be surprised when we ordered something other than the Mongolian Chicken. 5 years have passed when we have come back to Brisbane, and Lo and Behold! Yuans wok is still there! The waitress who knew our order has movies on but the quality and the taste is still 5/5 stars! Love it! Try to come once a week!

The food here is terrible, not even close to authentic and I am Chinese. Ordered hainan chicken and the ginger sauce taste old while the chilli sauce is like sweet chilli. The chicken have more bones then meat and the rice is plain steam rice. The table outside is super dirty and sticky so we went inside and the table still feels yuck. As we witness The lady at the cashier doesn't wipe the table, she clear the customer dishes after they left and wipe it over with customer used serviettes. Gross!

Fresh and tasty food. Their menu is quite extensive so you may end up spending some time making a decision on what to eat! Have been there a few times and I look forward to visit more often. Cheers, Diego

The prices were great but I really thought the food could have been better. I had the Mongolian Beef with rice and the sauce was overly sweet and the rice wasn't cooked well. Perhaps other dishes are better but this is my experience so far.

Having been eating at the yuan’s wok for three years. Always good! Highly recommend the beef with shallots , beef noodle soup, chicken rice noodle,sweet sour chicken, chicken fillets.Always so big and cheap. This restaurant looks a bit old but it’s a treasure . Recommend !

Stayed in Red Hill in Air BNB and decided to order chinese for 5 people. Ordered heaps of food including 2 of the King Prawns dishes and only got one. Rang to ask for them to send the other but they told me to come pick it up despite paying $30 for delivery from Hungry Panda. Then they said kitchen now closing….sorry and hung up on me. Disgusting behaviour of a customer. Very disappointing overall as the food was very ordinary.

It could have been more tastier. Should give something more for the price, 5/10
