Located inside Mr B's, this Thai eatery serves up a variety of tasty Thai dishes, specializing in Tom Yum noodle soups like its sister restaurant "Do Dee Paidang". The only difference is that they do not come in half sizes, so that means the prices are a bit higher than its competitors in Thai town.
Food is very good 1pm on Wednesday so no problems getting served the staff were friendly $13 lunch deal

Been coming here for a while and have noticed that the jumbo noods have gotten considerably smaller and less flavourful, very disappointed to see standards and care for the customer dropping
They handed my friend the credit card reader and 'dropped it' then charged her an obscene amount for it saying a customer had broken one last week - seriously, then stop handing them to customers! I've used my credit card in a variety of restaurants and establishments in many different countries including Australia and have personally never, ever been handed the card reader. When it comes time to pay, I hand over my credit card, that's it. It's not our job as the customer to handle the credit card reader, it's the wait staff's job. Granted some people need to enter in their pins, fair enough. But in my experience when someone in my party is paying by card and needs to enter in their pin it's always either placed firmly into the customer's hands, or down on a flat solid surface. Still don't see how it gets 'dropped' and this has never happened to anyone I know in any country I or friends have been to, until now. If this has happened twice in such a short time the common denominator is the wait staff at this restaurant, nothing else. Honestly don't they have insurance for this kind of thing? They should! Maybe they do and charged my friend anyway. Putting this onto a customer seems like this was done on purpose and felt like a scam. So be careful around the credit card reader or you may just get slapped with a hefty fine!
Excellent food that is flavourful and typically in large portions. I always try to eat at Yok Sod whenever I am near World Square. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants including Assam, Chat Thai Westfield and Galeries and Holy Basil but Yok Sod definitely makes the best Pad See Ew Thai Stir Fried Noodles. They recently underwent renovation and needed to increase the prices. However, this did not affect the high quality of food they offer as it has remained the same. Some of the staff may be chatting amongst themselves quite often when you are in need of their attention but - in my experiences - raising your hand high in the air and waving it will grab their attention.
The food is pretty good but the service could improve. 11 people waiting in a line at the bar, three bar staff and they insist on serving one person at a time! They have three tills so thats not an issue. Annoying to have to wait 10 minutes to get a beer while my dinner gets cold at the table.
Disappointed that the jumbo noodles were really just normal sized noodles in a large bowl for twice the price
For a very competitive price we took two dishes of good noodles big portions and a dish of rice and pork. If you want to try thai cuisine and don't want to pay a lot, this is the perfect place.
Food great. Service great. Dining tables somewhat crammed. 3.5 stars.
