Yoga Tree Taupo is my "Yoga Home". It is here that my body physical, emotional, and mental is becoming stronger, more flexible and I am developing into a whole person. Heather and fellow teachers embrace and nurture a strong community spirit, and work with all levels of yoga. Beginner or experienced - there is a place for you. Come and join us.
The Yoga Tree is a beautiful space and place to find a sense of harmony and balance in an otherwise busy, often stressful world. I can't recommend it enough. Congratulations to Heather who is the new owner. She has been so supportive to me as I learn this new discipline which brings laughter and tears and something to look forward to every week. Arohanui.
There are many things I love about Yoga Tree but for me the attention to helping students to have the correct alignment in each exercise is so important. My posture has improved enormously and I am now able ‘to stand tall’ even as I get older. I’d recommend the classes to anyone at any age.
Yoga Tree Taupo is a warm and welcoming yoga studio in the heart of Taupo. There is a strong community of yoga instructors and clients with a great social atmosphere. Regular or casual yoga clients are encouraged. Yoga Tree Taupo offers yoga classes, private yoga lessons, yoga workshops and Bali yoga retreats suitable for both beginners and more advanced yoga practitioners. I have found yoga to be great for physical wellbeing, general health and mental and emotional balance. The yoga studio has a full range of yoga accessories including ropes, balance accessories, yoga mats and a range of hot and cold teas are available. Yoga Tree Taupo is a wellness centre that are also particularly good at working with people recovering from injury or disability. Yoga practitioners also use the Yoga Tree studio to complement other physical fitness programme's including pilates, gym work or when visiting Taupo District for the many Taupo events such as the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge or Taupo Ironman.
My first Yoga retreat to SolScape Raglan with Heather, she was fantastic helping me in my request to go deeper into my yoga. Highly recommend A+++
Very patient with an elderly novice like me. Lots of fun.
