Great staff, very friendly and approachable! They have all the activities from fitness to After school program. Going to the gym with wee ones is no worries as they can look after your kids on a Tuesday and thursday basis, booking is a must. Family membership is also available.

I just started going to the gym. The Y is easy and convenient

It's hard to evaluate it, since they didn't give me access to the whole facility. But I have enough information anyway. I was thinking about starting working out there, but I changed my mind. Just a few equipment, would always have to share, and the worst part is that I wasn't allowed to take a look at the things that were my main goal here. I've seen some heavy bags from outside and I'm a muay thai fighter, so I needed to take a close look. Not every bag can take the power from a heavy guy like me. I requested permission to take a look at them, just to analyse how resistant they are, but they simply said no. That's it. Didn't tell me to come another time or anything. Just "no". So, I don't feel I'm welcome there and I wouldn't recommend it. Every other gym in Invercargill allowed me to, at least, take a look at the whole place. Some of them even allow you to have a trial. YMCA wouldn't let you see everything before making a decision.

A small gym with all the equipment needed for a good weights workout.There is a decent number of cardio machines,  such as row machines, treadmills, bikes and cross-trainers. There is a good sized court available for hire. The facilities such as showers, sauna and gym equipment are all in good condition. Staff are available to assist. There is a limited range of classes but older people are well catered for. The TVs do not connect to the sound ports on the treadmills so you have to be good at lip reading.

Great gym that offers very affordable rates. They have all the general gym equipment, a studio where the give general fitness classes, spin classes, a big court where you can play or practice basketball, rock climbing ect. Really a well kitted out place with a very affordable gym membership price.

From 15/09/2019 to 06/01/2022.I've been a member there more than 15months.I decided to cancel my membership there because I wanted to change a new Gym28/12/2021.The contact said I need to pay cancellation fee within one year.In case I asked staff more than 2 times.The first time the staff said she doesn't understand the rule because she is new there.I can understand and just signed the paper.The second time their staff said I don't need to pay any fee.I'm ok to go.But now they just sent a email to me which said I have to pay $99.That is really make me confusing.For the small thing.They can't put a team good attitude on it.Please treat your customers well.Please give us the equivalent service while you get the customer's money.If everyone is perfunctory, how does your team grow? Please give me a reason to go back. A bad experience.Still waiting for their response.

Great family gym. A gym for everyone. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and good value for money. The climbing wall is off the hook.

Friendly staff, good equipment and facilities, easy parking

Great jim go there when I get the chance tryna get gains. The staff are really nice and the equipment and stuff is always very clean. Not to many people go there which makes it even better.

New spin bikes are awesome and new time table 6am classes.  Tried the HIIT session this morning,  need more people to make it super fun. Give it a go!
