An above average suburban park, with a couple of sets of play equipment for kids, a small skateboarding area & picnic area with electric BBQs. Good sun protection over the picnic area & play equipment however it doesn't take much to fill the picnic tables. Seating away from the picnic areas would be appreciated. Bearing in mind that there will often be kids from a few families using the equipment at a time, simply providing more seating near the equipment would be a good start. Adding sun protection would be even better. If you're planning to spend a few hours there with the kids, it would be wise to bring something to sit on & remember to slip, slop, slap! And don't forget something to feed the water birds.

The pond is actually a pleasant surprise. Perfect for walking your dog, cycling or just to meander along the lake's edge. In summer it is quite exposed to the elements and it is a good idea to take a hat and to slap some sunscreen on. There are quite a bit of birdlife in the aea and you may even spot a black swan or two. It seems that the restaurants here are closed in the afternoons. Not sure when they operate so bring your own water just to be sure.

A really nice clean and peaceful place to walk and enjoy nature. Feed the ducks, play in the playground, head to get a coffee or just sit and enjoy the scenery. It's a popular place to walk, run or ride but not overcrowded.

Great area with limited parking and decent barbeque facilities. There are heaps of trees for shade and a lot of adventure playground equipment, like a flying fox and tyre swing, for kids and adults alike. Access to water is good too and if you like walking, you can loop the park in under an hour.
