After my daughter had a rough day at school I decided to take her out for the most outlandishly absurd milkshake I could find in Castle Hill. Looking online I found that Yellow Brick was recommended by a somewhat reputable site.

I checked their menu and found that they had four "Super Shakes" that looked relatively appealing, so after picking up my daughter from school I took her along.

Upon arrival we discovered that their printed menus showed only three types of "Super Shake", two of which were on the online menu, and one being completely different. Upon ordering, we discovered that  they only had the ingredients to make one of the three (admittedly it wasn't a peak time, but still).

Our shakes were not really what I would call "Super"; fairly stock-standard milkshakes topped with whipped cream and milo. Certainly not deserving of the $9.90 price tag.

Ultimately it wasn't terrible, however due to my own high expectations I left quite disappointed.

My star is a minus 1 star. This place gave me more vomiting than I've had in all my life COMBINED. I was throwing up not 10 minutes after we left this place. Had to cut our excursion short and run to the car hoping to make it home in time, nope. Started spewing in the car, luckily we'd been to Howard's Storage World and had one of their great plastic bags, needless to say they will be getting a 5 star review just for their sturdy and watertight bags (their storage stuff ain't bad either).

Do not order a sandwich from this place, they will simply pull out a soggy display sandwich that's been sitting around for what tasted like days. They ruined my entire weekend, I couldn't go anywhere or eat anything other than air for 2 days.

 You should have named this sandwich something else since it had NO Ruben ingredients, something like "the exorcist" perhaps.

Yellow Brick Cafe serve consistently great coffee. They make delicious smoothy's and you can choose what ingredients you want in your smoothy if the smoothy choices on the menu does not interest you. Try one of their sandwiches, they are fantastic. My favourite is the cheeseburger sandwich.

One of the best cafe experiences in Castle Hill! The food and hot drinks are fantastic and it is always busy. The menu, although not extensive, is delicious. The management and staff are pleasant. Definitely recommend.

coffee is ok. but its the food i wouldnt recommend. i ordered the breaky wrap and it came out still cold in the middle and the bacon didnt look like it had been cooked. the worst part was when i found a piece of plastic in the wrap. the young girl was apologetic and said she would inform her boss but thats all that came of it. there was no discount or refund offered.
