Coffee is okay, but owner's attitude towards customer service is terrible. When ordering a large coffee for dining in, owner requested I pay upfront as I could "walk off". No mention of price, staff took my $5 note out of my hand and when I asked if it was $5 exactly she said yes, and that was that. For what it's worth, coffee is actually okay (not great, not bad) but the service was unfriendly to say the least. Feedback in other reviews here is consistent with what I experienced, and the couple next to me also expressed their dismay at the service levels. It's disappointing as I used to frequent this cafe many times about 5 years ago when I was studying and feel it has gone significantly downhill since then, although I do recognise one of the staff members who has been here since then!

Approached cafe, to be told that table service was available.
Once seated, we watched the 3 waitresses chat amongst themselves, oblivious that customers were waiting to order for the next 10 minutes.
Food was sub par, little care had been given to food prep including massive chunks of onions in both the risotto and pasta that were ordered at my table.
Pasta had also been smothered in Parmesan cheese when none had been requested.
Other patrons also experienced the same frustration of being told to the find a seat and enjoy the non-existent "table service".

Food is absolutely disgusting and bad service. Owner does not care about quality or service. Rotten food was served and not corrected. Bad coffee every time. No more for me
