Dont walk past this hidden Gem of a restaurant. The friendly ladies outside holding the menus will lead you up to an amazingly authentic dining experience. The atmosphere is up beat yet relaxed and the food and open air balcony is amazing. The only sounds my wife and I made during our meal were groans of pleasure. We tried the mixed grill with souvlaki and lamb cutlets but the start was the Arni Lemonato. Slow roasted lamb with vegetables. I tried to get the recipe but apparently they are taking it to the grave. Yaya's will definitely be on the itinerary next time we travel to Cairns. Special thanks to the amazing staff for their friendly service and our compliments to the chef.

I was really missing my Greek food so popped in here one night. The owner was really lovely and friendly and gave me a top seat with sea views. The taramasalata was perfect, really light and fluffy. This was followed by the octopus started (wow) and then the stuffed squid. Really unusual but so nice. I rolled out I ate so much - but loved it. The owner made me feel like I was having a meal at my mum’s. Will deffo go again next time I’m in town.

Good location on 2nd floor witj ocean views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and served quite quickly. Highly recommended.

Good food but do yourself a favour and leave your kids at home, they do not like kids!
