Amazing flavours and selection of ingredients. The also sell bubble tea which tastes really fresh and smells authentic. I would note that there were some flies flying over the ingredients so maybe do something about that?
Wonderful selection of ingredients. Excellent taste. Very fair price. You can make a hotpot quite healthy too if you choose the healthier ingredients. Very exotic ingredients like Taro, so many different mushrooms, styles of tofu, types of noodles, bamboo shoots, vegetables - the list goes on. I am vegan and this place is super accomodating for me. I love the tomato broth. Nice environment. There is a cute little bubble tea store too at the front of the restaurant. To top it off, this place has garnishes such as shallots and garlic paste you can put on your hotpot after it is cooked, at no extra cost. I highly recommend going to this place.
The beef bone soup tastes ok. However, the sticks with cheese are all stale :. The dipping black sauces also taste bitter. The peas are not greatly fried, some is still hard. Many of the stickers for naming the menu also misleading, not putting any efforts to match it. The logo is the same as an International brand, is this the copycat?
As an authentic Chinese MaLaTang, Yang Guo Fu Ma La Tang predecessor Yang Ji Malatang opened its first store on Yonghe street in Harbin city in 2003. I was so happy that they're opening in Sydney. Have been to this place serval times. Staff there are very friendly and they provide lots of fresh ingredients. BTW, they even offer free popcorns and fruits! There is also a Hey Fresh Milk Tea at the entrance and if you buy one you will get one free. Each time I came here with my friend we just cannot resist the temptation... It does comfort the body for a MaLaTang meal.
I only came for a drink and after seeing the previous reviews I think I may actually come back to try the food too. The drink itself was alright, wished there was more milk/sago but the price was alright when you buy one to get another free. Our server was a friendly lady who I can noticeably see her doing her best with a smile. Definitely makes me want to go back :

Awesome I was early so it was nice and quick. I enjoyed the cost and freshness of the food. Only 4 stars because lack of English speaking staff.
