Story

Xscape at the Cape is the South West's premier family fun park with attractions for all ages and spectators are free!

We have an adventurous new attraction for summer - Amaze 'N' Lazer Tag - where kids play in teams against each other, testing their mental and physical abilities in our Mine Shaft Maze. We've had great feedback so far!

Experience the South West's Ultimate Water Playground - the Get Wet H2O Water Park with 4 waterslides, 1000L Tipping Bucket, water cannons, buckets, umbrella's and more!

Test your putting skills on the one of a kind, interactive 18 hole Wacky Putt Jokes and Pranks Course.

Journey through the vortex entrance and beat the clock as you race your way through the labyrinth of The Mine Shaft Maze.

Jump until your heart’s content on one of our ten unique Jump ‘N’ Tramp Trampolines, and tackle Jungle Mountain. Climb, scale or scramble your way to the top before bouncing back through the fifteen levels of the elastic webbing. Then it’s time to start all over again!

The kids will love exploring the huge undercover KidZone. They will challenge the turrets, slides and obstacles of the Tiki Mountain jumping on Tiki Island, the gigantic inflatable and taking a ride on the Quindalup Express.

Once you have built up an appetite, grab a bite to eat from The Xscape Café. Treat yourself to a Yahava coffee or Margaret River Beverage & enjoy an award winning artisan icecream from Two Fat Cows.

Charged full price. We were there for 1 hour. Place was absolutely filthy and not maintained at all. I appreciate we have just come out of winter, but please have a safety check and clean before then opening to the public!! Two Trampolines “we’re out of use”, due to holes in them. However they weren’t taped off, the tape was just stuck the net. Big slide wasn’t in use but that’s ok, he did let us know before we paid. The maze was just full of cobwebs so not enjoyable at all for the kiddos. Slides were really dirty and scraped the skin. Kids didn’t want to stay as they weren’t enjoying it. This place could really be amazing. We were really looking forward to spending the day there and having lunch. But was not the case. There was only one worker on site, who was actually really lovely, so does make me feel a bit bad writing this review. That one star is for him !! But honestly guys : such a huge disappointment.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Trampolines have holes in them and have caution tape over it. Climbing walls and tower not in service. EVERYTHING needs a MAJOR revamp! The whole place is very Run down and I would consider it dangerous. Very dirty. Small waterpark & water slide was okay. You can’t bring any snacks for kids. You must buy all your food there. Toddler area and plastic toys absolutely filthy and some are broken. Definitely would not come back.
We used to go there alot but probably won't come back. Some of the trampolines are broken, the bouncy castle was deflated with cobwebbs, the main slide was closed half the time, the mini golf course needed maintenance, the climbing frame was closed and you can't bring any food in with you any more. Considering it's now $50 entry it's definitely not worth the cost. As a local it's disappointing as it has so much potential.
Only 1 star due to scam price and so much lack of maintenance and cleanliness in the park. Some trampolines were not operational and not adequately barricaded off children could still jump on them with large holes and tears An ACCIDDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. Mini golf was in desperate need of some tlc as most of the course turf was peeling off in areas and the club handles had no rubber cover and were sharp on the ends, as were the holes when you got your ball out of the hole. The laser tag maze did not have enough laser guns only 5 people total per 15minute round..... due to no other working laser guns out of the 16. We waited at least 45 min to have a turn. Rock Climbing walls were not operational. Ninja tower was damaged and not able to use and half the mini ninja course was out of service. All water slides were operational and the kids enjoyed them. The staff are very freindly and helpfull. There are nice grassed seating areas to relax and eat and drink. OVERALL... This park is very over priced for its current state of operation and needs a clean and urgent repair work done. The owners are obviously not looking to secure return customers or good reputation. I spoke to other visitors at the park yesterday who were of the same opion and disappointment. Wont go back again after being scammed and robbed of there money.
STAY AWAY, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Spent over $500 for a party. As we were travelling we were told to just book a day and that it could be changed as required. Numerous phone calls were made prior to visiting the park to confirm and everything seemed ok, until we arrived. Once in the park it was disgusting, all "attractions" are filthy with the majority of the attractions either damaged or not fit for use. Trampolines had holes in them and only 4 of the 16 laser tag guns were working. As per all other reviews this place needs to be shut down. With all the negative comments, it won't be long until it happens anyway. The owner refused to supply the pre paid party food. He claims it was prepared the previous day disgusting but also a lie. He did not know what the kids preferences were for the food, how could it be prepared the prior day? The owner claims he did us a favour even letting us in the park after we paid over $500. They had a 10 year old interacting with customers and then claim we made her cry she seemed quite happy eating her ice cream at the counter. Why is a 10 year old working? More importantly, why is she interacting with customers? Unfortunately since the new owner Sam Sharma acquired the park, it's gone backwards and quickly. It's only a matter of time before it closes, hopefully someone more customer focused takes over and revives the park to what it once was. STAY AWAY, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Reply: You were advised the day prior when we were arriving by phone call. No one made fun of the 10 year old. as i said she was happy eating an ice cream, not crying Look at all of your latest reviews, all your customers are saying the same thing. The issue is the park and it's operators, not it's patrons. Stop making excuses and blaming your customers. Own your mistakes and fix them. some of this group has been visiting the park for 5+ years, until now there has not been an issue.
The best place to take ur family and kids in the summer if you are in the southwest. Escape at the cape is a beautiful place to relax. It is lovely seeing the children play and enjoy themselves in the open air swimming pools. This water park has served the local community, visitors and generations of children over the years. There is always a great athmosphere at the pool as all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Must visit spot for summer !!
This is an atrocious place to any person who comes here. It is extremely dangerous with not enough staff on the lookout. The highlight is the laser tag and yet it is still quite unsafe for children. Some of the staff were friendly but some were not. I will definitely not come back here, unless this place gets some proper maintenance. I’ve read other reviews about injuries to children due to poor maintenance. And I really think this place deserves to be shut down. Also it’s extremely overpriced for the poor quality experience.
This is my first negative review of a place and if I could give zero stars, I would. The entire venue and experience was nothing like the photos and was filled with cobwebs and rather unkempt. We paid full price for 1 child and 1 adult around Aud90 so we could play the laser tag but my kid was really disappointed. There was no one at the mine shaft maze and when we asked the staff if we could play, he just said we had to wait for at least 6 to 8 players in order to play. It was obvious that there were no other kids waiting around to play. We tried to pass time by playing the golf putting games which had poorly maintained carpets and props, and the Ninja Tower looked unsafe. My kid felt there was really nothing fun at all and I won’t recommend this place to anyone. It was a wasted trip.
Accident waiting to happen. Unfortunately we were these people. Took our kids there for a joint party. We were one of the first groups in. Within 5 minutes, one of the children fell down a drain hole in the water park area. Cut his whole leg open and had to be rushed to Bunbury hospital where he spent 2 days and had to undergo surgery. A horrible experience and everywhere you look there are accidents waiting to happen. Park obviously not checked before it opens and no maintenance done. I actually don't know how this place is still open and running.
The infrastructure is superb for children. Disappointed that the train has been out of action for 2 weeks. The coffee needs to be barista quality for such a location. The are spiders webs everywhere...felt like a Scooby Doo mystery. They have new summer equipment so that will be fun and I hope they do some cleaning up before summer. Overall, we will always go there anyway coz the kids love it.
