Absolutely sensational!!! Extremely informative and the service was impeccable. We even had 2 late comers and the Captain turned the boat around to make sure they didn’t miss out. The boat is state of the art and extremely comfortable. They believe it’s your boat for the day and have an open door policy so that you can step into the control room and chat with the Captain - even has a comfy lounge! Couldn’t fault a thing - the food was delicious and the coffee was great. I would highly recommend supporting this wonderful family business. The Captain has been with them for over 20 years and he was extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. Thank you for a fantastic day.
We had an absolutely wonderful time on The Red Boat! The boat was very comfortable, plenty of room to move around, and the food was delicious we had the vegetarian option. The trip to Sarah Island is the highlight of our Lap of Tas so far. The tour guides were amazing, knew their stuff, and were very engaging. We splurged and booked seats upstairs, and it was worth every penny; the extra drinks and food were well worth it. The short walk up the Gordon River was beautiful and educational. I would highly recommend this cruise and this company as a “must do” if you’re in Strahan.
From all my travels this cruise is the best I've ever been on.nJust like the area it unfolds in, it ticks every single box , spectacular.nBeautiful clean vessel, extremely friendly staff, very attentive, the captain was entertaining and so lively in his delivery.nThe food served was amazing.nThe scenery was truly magical.nThe 2 stops you do were incredible with even better guides doing their storytelling.nHighly highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.nIt's no wonder it's a world heritage zone.
Fantastic day out. Boat is very modern and we'll kitted out, staff are all very friendly and great with kids. Narration is informative, Sarah Island the 1hr stop is super interesting, the whole thing an absolute must do.
We had the pleasure of a trip with x4 kids 12, 10, 7 & 7 plus us parentals and the grandparents. We absolutely LOVED this, we have been on the grey boat gordon river cruises before as a couple and there's just a few things we noticed in difference for people travelling with kids: gordon river cruises sat families to the back with not as nice view and buffet hard to juggle for them with kids and no tables. World heritige cruises was AMAZING and glad we chose this option with the kids, we had tables to sit with our kiddos, right up the front next to a designated play room with toys, beanbags and they even offered movies, one of our little ones felt a little sick headed out to the heads and staff was so attentive, after some sea sick tablets, some sea salt chips and a ginger beer he bounced back and staff kept checking in, they offered colouring in and lots of coloured pencils and with lunch brought to us it was much less hassle, they got to go sit up next to the captain and had pictures with the captains hat and they generally had the most amazing experience, I absolutely am so happy we booked with world heritige cruises and im not knocking gordon river cruises either we had a fantastic time on board as a couple with them previously but just feel as a family the much better choice would be hands down world heritige cruises as they seem so family orientated even stopped us to say how well behaved and well mannered our children were all day which with 3/4 children all autistic with ADHD this is more a compliment TO the crew than us as parents honestly because the entire time we were not short on activities to keep the busy kids busy and that 100% made ALL the difference in the way our children behaved while on board! I couldn't rate this trip any higher, if you have the opportunity to do this with your kids DO IT ive never seen so many great big smiles all round its something we will never forget! Thanks for having us!!
