Local, convenient …. but Sunday hours need to change to reflect the locals’ needs. So instead of 9am-6pm …. it should be 7am-8pm.nI went there last Sunday at 6:15pm to get some milk & butter for dinner prep but the doors were locked. Several people turned up around that time and we were all let down by Metro for closing so early. Bad decision by management. It needs to change.
We love our local Woolies: everything is fresh, fantastic organic bread, barista coffee, fresh sushi, flowers and almost no need to drive to a big Woolies - what’s not to like! So glad they opened a few months back. It’d be great to see them staying open longer hours on Sunday, however, I believe there’s a QLD government restriction in place and it’s not the shop’s fault.
Upon my travels to pick up one of my 9 daughters, I was a little early so I stop to spend my last daughter on a treat for my little girl... That is hard because there isn't much for a dollar amore, but as I was in kid mode I had a free banana and found a Fredo.nI thought I'd leave a review as the staff were all wonderful and made me smile, even though I sometimes find it hard after another of my little girls left for upstairs early.nnCongratulations guys. Keep up the good work!
I couldn’t ask for any better team to work with - we are a rather laid-back but ever loyal and understanding team, and we know what to do to make someone’s day better. And trust me, we did get quite a few poor reviews at first, but hey, we’re learning. And I’m proud of us. nnIt’s just a great atmosphere, and trust me, the modernity, the music, the range sushi and coffee for example!, the team, all that, I’ve found the right place to work at the right time.
I understand it’s a metro with limited range but why put the shelves so high? Im not that short but still couldn’t reach the sourcream on the top shelf, had to find someone and ask for help reaching something which is a little embarrassing , one person serving on a big register and helping out in self serve must be stressful for the worker as well.
