Lovely store, Woolworths Central Dalby QlnNot impressed with checkout lady, chatting to a work colleague behind us,whilst serving us.We asked for to concentrate on serving us, her reply was, she's a lady and can do more than 3 things at once. If this was in my store, another customer would be lost.
There must be a problem with getting the milk and cold products from the truck to the fridge because EVERY time I buy milk it's off or tastes sour like its been sitting on the back dock for half an hour, the staff needs to be on the back dock when the truck arrives and they need to put pallets in the fridge as a priority ....... I've personally worked for the company for many years and this is the only store I've come across that I will not buy the milk I'll go to Coles or Aldi to get it
I'm happy to be a Woolies boy, affordable prices and friendly staff
The worker David was very rude to me and my friends all because we were helping a friends mum with her groceries. He asked our friends mum if we were bothering her and if she wanted us to leave. I felt very intimidated because he kept staring at me and my friends all because we were talking with our friends.
Today my partner, grandmother and I walked into the store to pick up a few things as usual. Paid and left the store, was asked to have our bag inspected and we complied, no dramas at all.nnAfterwards we went into big w to purchase some hair dye and bought a big w bag to put it all in as my partner doesn't get receipts. As big w didnt have enough supply of the hair dye we wanted, we figured woolworths staff would have known we didn't have a big w bag 5 minutes ago as they checked us and it would be fine to return to buy more hair dye.nnApparently not. We were absolutely fine with letting the same staff member inspect our bags again but somehow they had a problem with our hair dye and wanted to make us pay for it again.nnIt would easily be seen on security footage us walking into woolworths for the second time after coming from big w with the big w bag containing the hair dye.nnMy grandmother a dalby woolworths customer for over 23 years who watched the whole event happen felt very embarrassed and frustrated by woolworths staff for causing a scene over something simple. She will not be returning.nnIn our experience, If you don't get receipts, then don't go in to woolworths with anything even Coles branded, we've had that happen too from another store. If you look different, dress different, or are anything out of the ordinary, staff will target you and act aggressively without reason.
