Lately we have been finding alot of the food not up to par. The chicken u must eat on day of purchase or it gets that smell. I bought thins, the sandwich alternative with mould spores all over them, They claim to sell chicken breast supreme.Iv been eating this 4 years.. That is not supreme..seems to taste exactly like the chicken loaf.nAnd the fruit is starting to fail. I get tasteless strawberries .. mouldy or slushy strawberries.nMost things we have brought lately come very close to the use by date on the date of purchase. And recently the bread has had that just bout to go off smell.nI think because they lost so much money with the recent strike, they are trying to palm off all the stuff they've had in storage...nJUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH
There is nothing fresh about this fresh food people store.nIt looks dirty and tired. Cold food storage is really unhygienic looking at times.nDeli staff love to have a chat…to each other at the expense of service.nFresh produce is often limp or bruised…or at the tail end of fresh.nSoft drinks with zero sugar? Forget it. It is so inadequate as to be irrelevant.nAnd of course the legendary prices they charge, then treat you like a potential thief at the checkout.
Worst Experience At Woolworths Supermarket, a large Australian company, I had the worst experience. I was going to buy seven gift cards here, but they said I could only buy one per person. But the Woolworths Catalog said 10 purchase limits per person. The clerk took the gift card as if he were a thief, and I politely asked for a manager. Then the manager checked my ID and credit card name and sold the gift card. They didn't let me buy it with their misinformation and didn't even apologize. Never use this place.
The short lady supervisor really needs to put a smile on her face. And her attitude is on a top level, when I asked for a receipt she goes “I asked for it & you said no”. Nope, I said no bags only.nnThey should induct you how to talk to the customers & no doubt learn how to put a smile on a face. We paid for it too.nnWhat a good example you’re for your counterparts. Extremely poor practice
Although it clearly says the open and closing times on the window outside, the staff won't let you enter the store if it's 5 or 10 minutes before closing. The security guard refused to let me enter 7 minutes before closing time. If you are shopping there after 9.40pm the staff are making broadcasts that they will be closing in 20 minutes. They broadcasts continue every few minutes until closing. I've seen so many customers get turned away. All of them saying the same thing. It's not 10pm yet. It makes no difference. They want you out. This doesn't happen at Coles. The staff are so much better Coles lalor. It's a pity they close at 9pm
