I’m so sick of these anti-theft measures that completely ruin the time of those the majority! who do not steal!! The staff don’t even check stuff so it’s a mere annoyance to them also. Way to ruin any kind of respect or trust with your customer. Genuinely every single transaction without fail the attendant has to come over because the computer cracks it. Today this came up after I took a second to find and scan my rewards card:
I bought some fish fillets from Woolworth Eltham and later realised those fish are not fresh, as a matter of fact, they are extremely smelly. Had to clean up the kitchen and drive back to return those trash. What a terrible experience in ‘Fresh Food People’
This Woolworths is one of the best around st helena Woolworths is the best it always has plenty of produce and is never really that busy. the only downside is there isn't much parking.
no star for this shop, I am feeling so angry this morning, because of store manager Danny was stoped me shopping this shop. I want to buy 30 kg banana and staff give me two box full banana, it show me 15kg a box then I go register to pay, lady tell me she need open box to scale all of the bananas, I just give her a bunch banana around 1.06kg and I tell her just scale 30 times, she tell her manager she need do 30 times banana, and her manager tell me don't come back this shop go other woolworth, they don't do bulk buy. I tell him I want to any shop I want to, you cant stop me or tell me how to do. when I leave the shop, I come back second time to buy strawberries again, he just come and take away my strawberries say I can't buy anymore and let me go, I tell him never have one let me go and tell me don't come back, that is so bad service and he need say sorry to me.
Staff are rude and disinterested. They would rather catch up on the daily gossip than serve customers. It's a shame that the regular offenders at the service desk don't wear name tags so that management could be informed, not that management would care.
Deli staff were most helpful and efficient
Good range of groceries including vegetarian options, helpful staff, accessible parking and entrance, depending on what time you go it can get quite busy
Doesn't stock everyday items others Woolworths stores carry e.g. International Roast coffee and Billy Tea.
Went in there about 8.30am they had over ripe tomatoes still full priced at $18.99 kilo there was no registers open so had to go through the self service were you treated like a criminal buy being filmed constantly I don't steal and find treated like l do very offensive
Great selection of Irish and UK products including McVitie's Jaffa Cakes and Tayto crisps.
