Would not recommend. My daughter just came home crying saying the Dr was really mean. A message has to be delivered it can be done in a way that is compassionate. This wasn't!!
Was a five star on my last visit but definitely changed now. Unsure why the reception staff was abruptly rude..not welcoming at all.. think it's just the older lady that behaved odd as I think the other reception staff attended my call for an appointment and she was really kind.
Appointment was at 1:30 I came at 1:20 to fill in the forms as it was my first time. They have a sign to let the reception know if you have waited longer then 20 mins. I waited till 2:30 to been seen by the GP with no explanation of why the wait time was going to be this long. I don’t understand the point of making an appointment. Reception said appointments are 10 minutes long for exisiting and 20 for new. Makes no sense that I waited this long. Gp was Dr Yi Emily Wang. Reception is not helpful at all, could of let us know if the doctor was running behind so we could of rescheduled. They need to have a better system. When I asked the reception how much longer I would wait they said I was next, I asked at 1:50 and proceeded to wait till 2:30. Really don’t understand how a doctor can be this slow. She was rude and not helpful just rushed through the appointment.
Certain GP likes to get you there constantly so they can bill it back to Medicare - for example, other clinics will simply send you a text message telling you the blood work is all good. But this GP likes to get you there physically and then tell you that your result is all good. Sometimes that GP likes to convey some simple information by 2 seperate appointments so that she can bill it back to Medicare. I’ve noticed this pattern for about 2 years, it used to make me worry if there was something concerning about my health so I would take time off constantly to go back, but in the past 2 years those messages all turned out to be a waste of time. I feel like this GP doesn’t really care about your health, she just wants you there so she can get paid . I’ve recently found another GP at another clinic, very different style, way more productive and thorough. Anyway, I won’t go back anymore.
Dr Emily Wang is the best GP I ever met. She shows great care on patients. She is so pro and experienced doctor. Highly recommended
