Imran Zjajo at the enrolment section was really helpful today. I didn’t have an appointment but he was more than patient with me and assisted in every way possible. Thanks to him, my application got processed and i ended up joining Chisholm.
I called up 2 weeks in advance to be a model to get my hair done, I hadn’t had my hair done for over 12 months so I was really looking forward to this appointment. I arrived 45 minutes early as I had no idea where I was going. Reception staff lovely - pointed me in the right direction. Upon reaching the salon I was the only one there. Eventually a teacher rocked up, I mentioned I had an appointment her response was “we are pretty full today, we may not be able to fit you in.” I again said I called up two weeks ago and made a booking? She saw my name and started talking to another teacher about how shocking their booking system is. I was eventually welcomed into the salon, I showed the ladies the colour I wanted my hair or at least close too. I was met with the comment “you need bleach for that one & were quite short on bleach but we’ll add some boosters so hopefully it’s the colour you want.” The person next to me was allowed bleach but I wasn’t? Overall it was a good experience and I’ll definitely be back when my hair is due for another cut and colour.
If you're considering enrolling here for the Diploma of Nursing, don't. It's an absolute mess! Impossible to get hold of some staff including the Education manager for the Diploma of Nursing, placements are given last minute, a large majority of the teachers just read off PowerPoint, and at one point the class was all charged different re-enrolment fees, some students paying $10 and some paying $250. In addition, most of the assessments aren't even written in grammatically correct English, and assessors are extremely inconsistent. I could speak forever about how poorly this course was run but it would be as much of a waste of my time as the course itself. Thanks Chisholm for all the headaches, do not recommend, 0/5 stars.
Been trying to get ahold of staff, head of chisholm and the diploma programme. Work hasn’t been marked in 2 years, been harassing them for 8 months to be able to get my registration. Have missed out on several job opportunities due to the incompetency of some teachers and staff being unable to mark work
Went with my son to enroll him for a course. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Can be a bit of a wait to see a career advisor as they have a ticketing system to speak to them. Just like Vic Roads. Great service.nMake sure if you booking in take ID and even if booking for your son or daughter. Birth certificate, learners/drivers licence or other recognised ID.
