About

Woodcroft College is a coeducational, Anglican day school for students from Reception to Year 12.

Story

Woodcroft College is a coeducational, Anglican day school for students from Reception to Year 12.

As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, Woodcroft College offers the Primary Years Program (PYP) in the Junior School, the Middle Years Program (MYP) in the Middle School, and the Diploma (DP) in the Senior School. Senior School students may also choose the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) with its Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathway.

Woodcroft College is vibrant, innovative and inclusive. It seeks to provide an excellent all-round education in a Christian environment. The curriculum is broad and relevant, aimed at meeting the students' intellectual, physical, social and emotional needs.

The school has a strong pastoral care focus, a broad extra-curricular program (involving outdoor education, sports, clubs, and performing arts) and an international focus, with annual student exchanges with Japan, Germany and Italy.

Our students are our greatest ambassadors.

Our staff are committed to ensuring that every child achieves their personal best. Through the benefits of the International Baccalaureate Programs, your child will be encouraged to take risks and acquire the lifelong skills of an independent learner. They will be encouraged and supported to excel in their studies, both personally and academically.

The Junior School (Reception to Year 5) provides young learners with the opportunity to learn and practise the essential social, emotional and problem solving skills they will need throughout their schooling. A major focus of our school is to develop positive self-esteem, helping young children feel confident about who they are, and to encourage them in their ability to take on the challenges of new learning in a caring and nurturing environment.

Our Junior School is committed to laying a solid foundation to support all students in their learning throughout their educational journey from pre-school to Year 12.

The Middle School (Years 6-9) is committed to supporting young people through their adolescence. With a global perspective, we encourage them to discover, explore and engage in their learning and to take supported risks with their learning. We cater for a wide range of student learning needs and offer students a wide range of academic experiences that will help them develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills they need for their Senior School years and beyond.

Our Middle School is committed to encouraging all students to achieve their personal best.

The Senior School (Years 10-12) is committed to nurturing the synergy between student, home and school. Effort, resilience, drive and grit are qualities developed by highly committed and encouraging staff to ensure that each student achieves their personal best. Students are encouraged to unlock their passions and interests, and pursue their individual strengths. Extensive subject selection and career counselling are offered to each of our students to ensure they are well aware of their options and post-school choices.

Our Senior School is committed to providing students with a holistic education, great opportunities, and a head start in life.

The school is amazing. You feel very safe here and the teachers are very supportive and are good friends. Facilities are very stylish and are being improved every day. Some may say the rules are strict, but it helps to discipline and give us students good habits. A suggestion for the facilities: - Warm water taps for cold days I am so glad this school exists, it's very safe and won't influence your children in bad ways. Also, I am quite jealous of the up-and-coming Primary school, it looks incredible, I wish it could have been there when I was in Junior School. Most of the reviews here complain about things the school can't control like Subway cookies, etc.
The child bird dropping epidemic incident can not be forgotten. May Nicole's children rest peacefully. My child was lost to the shadow realm and I will not forget. Good school. 19/10. No more bird child dropping please.
Despite the bird-dropping epidemic, Shrek incidents, and the multiple occurrences with the shadow realm, this school offered me experiences that no other school would have been able to. I rate this 4 stars because Subway is not giving out any free cookies on Mondays anymore.
Kids there are amazing and really nice and the teachers are great especially Mr Stott and his youtube channel MusicDadGamez go sub to him.
Once upon a time a student get tossed up into the air by an unrecognisable force, and all of a sudden the lord himself Shrek eats the student and fly's away never to be seen again. mother will be proud of my grades.
very good, except they might be evil. also we went to the shadow realm and I think ben came to my house
I'm a student The year 8s are really scary. They are out of control. The teachers are pretty good. I liked them and felt sorry for them. There is nothing they can do about the year 8s except expel them all. It's a big school, there is plenty of space. The colour scheme of the school is ugly, it is mostly green and orange. Green and orange do not go well together. Please, repaint the school. I don't like the handles on the girls' summer uniform. Someone could easily grab them. I wish the uniform wasn't so strict, I was told off for wearing winter socks in summer. Woodcroft is a very arrogant school, the teachers like to boast about it. One of them said 'you would have to have rocks for brains to go to a different school'. I know an ex teacher who admitted they left because they think it's a bad school.
great school except for the time my kids entered the shadow relm. we had to get wu on them to save there beautiful hearts and souls. great school but they dropped out after the.. incident, later going to the majik school also known as Hogwarts. they have never came back since. 2 stars
the teachers are great and the school is excellent. Would highly recommend it. I've only been here for a term and it has been the best term of my school life
I was a student at this school for 2 & 1/2 years and it was one of the best schools. I had to leave because I was moving but I’ll always remember this as a great school.
